Birds have always been my pride and joy. I grew up with birds ever since I can remember, and decided to take my passion one step further, and started breeding birds. I have always liked the fact of having hand tame birds, so I decided to hand feed my babies, so that I could allow others to experience an affectionate bird that they could own as their own pet.
We live in Calgary, Alberta and have indoor aviaries for all the birds. They have lots of room to fly around in their cages, and have lots of toys to play with. My birds eat pellets as their main diet along with fresh fruits and vegetables. I give them a special seed mixture for a treat that doesn't contain sunflower seeds due to the amount of fatty acids in them, which causes liver disease.
All of my birds are very healthy, and get lots of love and attention. I have regular routines for them. They all get to fly around and play in their tree that they adore, and when I say, "Back in cage", they go back in, start to settle down, and take a nap. Once they are finished taking a nap, I take each bird out and spend good quality time with them.
All of the baby birds are closed banded with different codes on them, showing that these birds are mine. I am a member of the A.A.C.C. (Avicultural Advancement Council of Canada) and all of my babies come with all the information which includes each one of the parents names, their mutations and all of the babies hatch dates.
We are the distributors for the best bird food on the market that is 100% organic without any additives or preservatives. This food can not be found in stores and is sold specificly to the zoo's and privately from professional distributors.
