Command Centre:
Worker: Covenant Engineer. Covenant Engineers build slightly faster than their Human counterparts, but lack any self defence weapons.
Medic: Minor Prophet
Troop Centre:
Trooper Recruit: Grunt Minor, armed with plasma pistol
Trooper: Grunt Major, armed with a Needler
Heavy Trooper: Special Operations Grunt with a Plasma Rifle
Repeater Trooper: Grunt “Gunner” with green-trimmed armour, with a deployable Plasma Cannon. Must deploy like the Deployable Cannon.
Anti-Air Trooper: Grunt with HALO 2 Fuel Rod Cannon
Advanced AA Trooper: Bulkier Grunt with FRG
Grenade Trooper: Grunt with original HALO Fuel Rod Cannon
Mounted Trooper: Four-legged mech with a tazer weapon.
Heavy Mounted Trooper: A bulkier mech.
Advanced Mounted Trooper: A six-legged mech with a larger tazer.
UNIQUE UNIT: Jackal. Has low health but high shield. Weak attack, but moves quickly.
UNIQUE UNIT: Jackal Sniper. Doesn’t need to deploy like the Marine Sniper, but fires more slowly and does less damage. Moves quickly.
Shipyard:
Hover Frigate: Has a more powerful attack than the Human Frigate, but is less heavily armoured and can only garrison three units.
Cruiser: Powerful, slowly moving battleship. It is shielded and has a lower rate of fire than the Human cruiser.
Destroyer: Fast moving melee ship. Effective against Human Cruisers because of its close range.
AADestroyer: Fires explosive plasma bolts into the air.
Transport: Heavily armoured and shielded but slow moving vessel, can carry many units.
Heavy Weapons Factory:
Pummel: Drinol. The Drinol is a hulking beast, larger than the Brute, that was meant to be in HALO 2, but was cut. An older iteration of it can be found in Marathon, under the name Driniol.
Anti-Air Mobile: Plasma Flak. Similar in design to the Wraith.
Artillery: Wraith Mortar Tank
Fortress:
Bounty Hunter: Elite Minor armed with a Plasma Rifle
UNIQUE UNIT: Brute armed with Brute Shot Grenade Launcher. Has lower minimum range than the Grenade Trooper, lower rate of fire, and a larger blast radius. Is also much tougher.
Deployable Cannon: Deployable Mortar. Can be seen in the original E3 video, as well as on the New Mombassa beach.
Airbase:
Fighter: Drone with a plasma pistol
Fast Fighter: Banshee
Advanced Fighter: Seraph Interceptor
Bomber: Banshee armed with a Fuel Rod Cannon
Heavy Bomber: Bulkier Banshee armed with FRC
Advanced Bomber: Seraph Bomber
Air Transport: Phantom
The Phantom will be armed with a weak Needler-Cannon for clearing out dropzones.
NEW BUILDING: Covenant StarYard
The StarYard behaves similarly to the UNSC Fleet Command, in that it constructs Covenant Capital Ships(CCS), except all CCS are protected by powerful energy shields.
Covenant Frigate: The Covenant Frigate uses Pulse Lasers to destroy Fighters, Bombers, and lightly armoured vehicles/Infantry. It is much less effective against other Capital Ships, heavily armoured vehicles, and buildings.
Covenant Destroyer: The Covenant Destroyer fires target-tracking Plasma Torpedoes. Plasma Torpedoes are less damaging than MAC rounds, but are more likely to hit because of their tracking ability, and have a slightly higher rate of fire.
Covenant Assault Carrier: The Covenant Assault Carrier is equitable to the UNSC Cruiser. It fires Plasma Torpedoes from several turrets, giving it a higher rate of fire than the Destroyer.
Mech Factory:
Scout: Ghost, tougher than standard Scouts, and does more damage.
Strike Mech: Shadow
Heavy Strike Mech: Spectre
Mech Destroyer: Hunter, has a large splash damage radius and does more damage to troopers. Slow, but tougher than standard Mech Destroyers.
Heavy Mech Destroyer: Adult Hunter, is larger and more powerful
Assault Mech: Scarab Miner Unit. Much slower than the UNSC Champion II, but much tougher. It can take a large amount of punishment, and has an extremely powerful attack. It can garrison eight units.
Sith Temple:
Sith Apprentice: Elite Vindicator
Sith Knight: Elite Ultra, white armour
Sith Master: Zealot, gold armour
