The Last Gasp---2/17/05 Well, sorry for leaving you on the edge for... what is it? 4 months? Wow. A new record, I say. Anywho, I understand why you people want to cut my head off, but I can explain. I tried really hard to get Port Sonic up before Christmas, but I was unable to. Go here to see what I mean... Teh PS of incompleteness... Anyway, I hope to get PS up soon with a php layout and all. I really do. It'll be with the Ncity network and will be with a lot more content, I assure you. Just be patient. You aren't going to see more things from this site, though. I refuse to put up with Freewebs, it is the training wheels of web building. Bvut you will see PS up on another site, soon. I won't let you down this time.
The day has finally come...---10/10/04 Well, we're finally preparing to move. But no, not to where you think we're moving to. We're preparing to move to a host that will offer an infinite amount of space, but the only issue will be getting a good sub-domain. We'll try and work that out. But with this new version of PS, there will be a cool, new layout, probably green. To get the amount of space thats promised, we will be networking with our affiliate Ncity. It's sort of complicated to describe, but trust me, you guys will love it. Along with the new site I will organize the content page, I'll add the affiliates that I've been needing to add, and I will get new sections up like Sonic Cartoons and other neat stuff. With hope, this will happen son, within the next two weeks. Also, I never did get that computer, but oh well. Later peeps.
Good news!---9/18/04
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I have a good story to report! I am getting a new computer, an eMac to be exact! Yay! With the power of an eMac, I will be able to use strong art programs such as Photoshop CS and guess what, I will be able to make esclusive music for Port Sonic too! No kidding! THis is all great for Port Sonic, and it may be a cure for my laziness, as my internet will be faster and more reliable! Soon I'll be able to administrate Port Sonic to its fullest potential, so rock on dudes! Also, a new staff member has joined this chaotic team, and that would be NintendoGameMaster! I'll have a bio of him up shortly on the staff page. NGM will write reviews, char bios, and whatever else he can, including a HUGE fan fic project! Now that will be cool! In addiotion, he'll provide valuable info on all the Sonic toons, which is rare to find these days. Let's give him a warm welcome to the site! And now as for site news, not all that much is going on around here, particularly because I am doing stuff on Tech Realm and trying to set up our new server to properly work with the Port Sonic pages which are to be moved soon. There's also the possibility that PS may be moving to become an acutal part of Ncity, but I don't know. If this site grows big enough, there will be no need for it. Anyway, everyone needs to go to our sister site, Tech Realm, and sign up in thier boards! You also need to get involved in the polls and interactive stuff there! So get going and visit today! Errors, and we're getting ready to move.---9/12/04 Hey guys, I fixed the content page. I heard complaints that the page wouldn't load correctly before, so by golly i fixed it in a snap and a half. How? Well, I copied the page source, pasted it in Composer, saved it, uploaded it to PS V2, and linked it from here to there. The page will look slightly different, I know, I didn't modify it to look specifically like it was before. Because of Freewebs' crap, I'm getting ready to do exactly what I did to the content page for all pages, and soon when I'm done I'll have only this site to link to the new PS. This move will not be PS V2, but just a temporarily solution to the freewebs junk. When I finish my main project, I will have a new layout up and WAY easier navigation, and not the junky mess that the content page is. It'll be cool. So get ready for that. Oh, since the sudden ressurection of Port Sonic has begun, I guess you guys can hang at the forums. I need to clean them up, but bleh, you guys are free to do what you want. Someday probably in the next two years I'll get Invision Power Board and more a more quality web hosting place with my own domain and everything. But that'll proably be in 2006 or 07. Too bad. Anyway, Ncity has cleaned up, and now I'm getting ready to go back there. Maybe, I dunno. But at any rate, I did a couple of small changes to the Sonic History page. I also got AIM. Who are you people?---9/10/04 zzzzzzz.... *wakes up* oh wha huh? OHHHH yea that's right, I still have a website! *looks around* Waaaaiiit, who are you people? O_o I don't recognize anyone... oh well, Port Sonic has awakened from the dead Alien style, and we're back in action. Here's why:
•Ncity (our affiliate and my main workplace) has turned into a pooey smudge of gwah. Our hoster has gone rabid and the place is a total wasteland
•I am bored and drunk
•Tech Realm (our sister site and my second workplace) is currently down due to bandwidth difficulties.
•Just for the fun of it
So there you go. 4 reasons why Port Sonic has come back. Now I need to make up an excuse for why the summer festival never happened... well, it just never got enough attention, and I am the freak responsible. I didn't plan it well enough. BUT, I gaurantee the Christmas festival will happen, no matter what. I don't care if a cow eats my telephone/DSL wire, but I will have a Christmas festival here not matter how much hell I have to go through. Well, anyway, Port Sonic 1.5 (now known as Port Sonic V2) will come, because I finally stopped picking my nose and figured out how to make web pages. Also, Genowing (who WAS our co-webbie, but its now Shade) made an MP3 Sonic remix named after me, so I'll host it on there! And I got extra content on Tech Realm, so check them out for extra Sonic content (when they get back online). Well, anyway, in Sonic news, not very much has been going on at all, except that Sonic heroes is coming to the PC, and Sonic X Season 2 artwork has gotten out of wraps and has escaped into the media. But that's just about it. There's also a really wierd game being made by Sonic Team for the DS, but no one has any idea whether it'll have anything to do with Sonic, Billy Hatcher, or something completely new. Who the hell knows, but I'll keep you covered on it. That's all for this update... hope to see more peeps coming back to the port...

Oh well... Shade got a once in a lifetime oppurtunity to update here on a dfifferent computer... and well, the forums are on the verge of dying. Liven it up guys and hang in there! Port Sonic 1.5 is coming together and soon the Summer Festival will be at the forums. Make sure you register on the forums if you haven't already! Port Sonic and Tech Realm, one of the affiliates, are sister sites now so you'll be hearing about both sites on both sites. Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!----8/3/04 As Shade, the new co-webmaster of Port Sonic. has told you at the forums, I have been stacked up administrating at Ncity and unable to grab the time to get here. And after the bulk of the work was done, I still didn't update here cause I just felt azy and I was busy exploring into a franchise I've been meaning to delve into: the Legend of Zelda. Without saying anything further, I'll make this claer: I will always remain faithful to Sonic the Hedgehog. This will remain a true-blue Sonic site. But... there just may be a bit of Zelda info popping up every now and then, along with Star Fox and everything Nintendo and Sega. So, with that past me... I decided to skip ahead in the LoZ franchise and I'm right now in the process of playing the Wind Waker. It's awesome! Even Zelda n00bs like me should BUY it! Anyway... I'll do my best to get some content up, and as you noticed I reluctantly released the Sonic History page, though most of it is not even close to done. So, all of you have my deepest apologies, and goodbye for today.
