Jack Emmert has confirmed that the Paragon Council have granted permission for his new housing scheme. The new housing is in response to complaints heroes have made regarding base rent, which despite their work saving the city's civillians, they are forced to pay just to keep their equipment and are unable to afford private accomodation of their own. Greater Light was very excited about the news saying, in characteristic selflessness, "Cool, apartment building is on the horizon? I've got to go tell my supergroup," and left before we could learn anymore about his views.
Jack has confirmed that in the future heroes will be able to afford personal appartments. For the more weathly hero, future developments will include rooms with a view and perhaps even roof top landing space for flying heroes and there is talk also of properties having mulitple floors. Mercury Star commented "Gobey and I have always dreamed of the day when we could afford to live in Talos Island. This truly is a reward for my hard work" and Lily added "I am very excited about the roof top landing bay as it will really give me room to spread my wings. I really hope they can get the planning permission for this."
We spoke to the leader of the Amazon Stars, Whisper Fae who said "The base is getting very cramped and we have limited floor space for more heroes. However, it is better than when I lived on the streets and nowhere is safer than a supergroup base." Whisper Fae went on to explain that as a hero's work calls for them to work unusual hours it can be very disruptive and as they all had to sleep in the same room the lack of privacy could lead to frayed nerves. Whisper Fae also pointed out that the bases do not have connection to waterworks so they have no bathroom facilities and have to visit public provisions for their personal hygene needs. She finished by saying that, "We don't earn a regular wage and rely on donations, I hope that Jack takes this into consideration when pricing his housing as affordable."
Not all the heroes were positive about the move with Mia Seroni airing her concerns, "I worry that this will seperate the supergroup and make coming to the base feel like work' and Knight in White added, "I like being around the others because then I know they're safe. I'm worried villains may target heroes living alone or less experienced heroes won't be as safe." WinterLily added, "I don't know if all heroes will be able to afford to buy a property as we need specialist clothing to do our work and Icon is very expensive and the more we develop our powers the more the cost goes up."
Moon Star felt more positive, "I am hoping that the accomodation will be large enough to be shared, so I can live with the friends that I work with every Friday and Tuesday night'. Tiger Slash hopes that the housing will live up to his expectations, "I trust the new windows will enable adequate lighting to allow me to admire my stripes in the mirror' and Thok added, "I hope there will be enough electrical sockets for my game console, television and computer," while Bubblegum Girl aspired for "A large kitchen to have the whole supergroup round for a dinner party."
During a conference at the city hall to discuss the new project one citizen raised the point that, "There is already limited housing for us and we are not fortunate enough to have superpowers," however Jack reassured him that the new project will not reduce the available housing for citizens. "There are several plots unsuitable for the public, such as the nuclear waste site which may be ideal for certain heroes whose physical advantages mean that radiation will not be an issue for them." Jack also suggested the Rouge Isles as a suitable area for Hero Houses as their presence may help reduce the crime in that benighted nation. We spoke to the Dark Stars regarding their view on this to which Death Widow said, "If heroes come to Rouge Isles then Paragon will soon be without," while MoonLily laughed psychotically and added, "I'd like to see them try!"
We can only wait and see if the housing is all the heroes have dreamed of or if the project will be riddled with the unsavoury bugs that seem to plague all of the city's major ventures.

Every body in Paragon knows the tsoo as a dangerous gang with eastern influence.
To become one of them is a difficult task, not only do you have to be strong of body but also of mind. There have been attempts to get an agent into the tsoo, but none were successful.
The paragon Police Department has tried to get hero’s into the tsoo with no luck for over a year now. But than there eyes gazed upon a new up and coming hero: TJ Hash. This Former K1 Champion has been in his share of dodgy clubs and illegal fights before Skinz found him and showed him the way. Blue Steel immediately confronted TJ with this difficult task and explained the secrecy even to his own friends and family. TJ accepted this difficult task. Now 3 months later this news was released after TJ’s undercover job was done. This incredible story finally comes out.
It all started when TJ got the call from Blue Steel explaining the mission and its dangers.
TJ dint hesitate and took the job this also meant he had 2 things to do be a hero and infiltrate the tsoo at the same time so it wouldn’t look suspicious. Every think seemed to go smoothly until Blue Steel didn’t hear any news from TJ and his SG had not seen him. It appeared he had famished of the face of the earth.
The Amazon Stars and their friends started a search of all known Tsoo save houses and hiding spots. After a rough Tsoo interrogation one of the tsoo warriors told lily about a newcomer to the tsoo that already busted himself up to body guard for a high ranking officer, and if they were to get wind of these attacks they would send him in to clean out there SG.
Lily knew that the newcomer had to be TJ. Once she found out where the base was she went there to help TJ, the tsoo were monitoring the com lines because of the massive SG attack on the Tsoo so she couldn’t call for back-up.
Lily went to Kings Row looking for a Bar named: “The wobbly rooster” the tsoo meeting place should be around back into the cellar. As she overpowered the guards something hit her on the back of her head and she lost consciousness. When she woke she woke up she was tied up and blindfolded, she heard a fight going on in the background. Everything went quiet, than a tsoo took off the blindfold. Are you ok lily? Its me TJ.
After some short explaining TJ told lily he was made body guard of Iron Fist Master Kan Ill.
He wasn’t able to leave the compound for anything security would stop him, but he couldn’t blow his cover yet until all the evidence had been confirmed by the PPD. He untied lily and they set up a plan. Lily would diverse the tsoo and in the chaos TJ would run out together with lily and some Tsoo following her.
They met up with Blue Steel and explained the story gave him the full details and evidence gathered by TJ. This undercover mission was a huge success its said Kan Still thinks Lily send his loyal body guard to prison.

a Villain in the "city of heroes"?!
A shocking discovery yesterday. the body of a reporter was found in front of an old crey warehouse. the reporter was literly burned alive. close to his body a camera was found, although it was a bit burned it apeared ok. when the police developed the pictures they found shocking evidence.
it seems bad blast was in IP, it looks like he was searching for something in the crey warehouse.
onfortunatly the reporter was discovered and the camera was destroyed along with the pictures on it, several eye witnesses claim to have seen BadBlast run off.
Crey repricentatives say nothing was stolen nor did the alarm go off.
now the quiestin is what was BadBlast doing there? but more important How did BadBlast get so far into paragon the so called city of heroes?!!! Does this meen any villain can just wander off into paragon?!
we know for a fact Bad has returned to the rogue isles but what will prevent him from comming back? well for starters statesman offered a huge bounty to who ever locks up badblast.
also the stardust times offers a bounty to heroes that manage to take out badblast.
this villain already cost us 2 reporters and its hard to find good reporters these days.
Yesterday RedBlast proved his inosence to the world by unfolding a plot against him by none other than BadBlast.
If none of you ever heard the story basicly Bad is the exact genetic copy of Red only he's all evil.
Apearntly Bad hired the Skulls to lure Red into a fight than claim that red didnt have any right to fight them as they werent commiting crimes.
altough this on its own wouldn't get Red into trouble because he could prove it wasnt like that. Bad's plan was more evil and genious. Bad has connections to the Lycan Society, this group of wolves is known for their assasination's of the most powerfull and quick hero's its sayd they walk as ghosts. Bad payed TLS to take out the skull that was sueing Red, so red would be doubted. and eventually would be taken in custedy for questioning and would be a sitting duck for TLS.
But luckally for Redblast, Bad didn't erase his tracks properly and Red followed them until he came face to face with his evil self.
After a 10 minute battle our photgrapher arived and took this photo before his camera melted from the heat.
In the Epic Battle between Good and Evil the tempratures rised way beyond anything that could sustain normal life. our representatives had to be evacuated.
the battle lasted for another 2 hours when sudenly the entire Amazon Stars were running and flying past us to aid Red in forever silencing his bad side.
both Bad and Red were exhosted, but Bad collected all his energy and managed to get away out of sight from the Amazon Stars.
The Amazon Stars were shocked when they took a look around and saw all the destruction the battle had done to the city block.
Whisper Fae and skinz helped Red up and called in help from coalitioned hero's like Violet Lilly. together they helped citicens and cleaned up the city. When the Battle Field cooled off the emergancy personel moved in and helped the hero's out, and the revived Red who just than saw the damge that his battle did to the city.
Will this ever be Forgiven by the people of Paragon? only time will tell.
In other news a strange wolflike creature was on a rampage troughout mercy island. rogue isles police force couldnt stop the beast. they barricaded themselfes inside a abondonned house and stood their ground there. The beast never came inside the barricades. but when the reinforcements came and chased away the creature they found a slaughtered police unit, only one survived.
Daryl Oakes, when he wes found he was screaming about a ghost wolf with huge claws and was in a deep state of shock. officers at the scene sayd they felt like something was watching them inside the room something they couldnt see.
and there was a whole path of these strange events right to the port oakes chopper, and that was were the beast headed apearantly the beast had calmed down and spoke to itself. " He was mumbeling something about a Lycan Society whatever that is" a eye witness sayd. this reminds uds about the last wolflike that ascaped from zig it was the same patern. what is this Lycan Society and is there a unseen presance that wolflikes do see?
the police force is negotiating about starting a wolf task force. " These creatures are way to dangerous to leave alone. they would slay hundreds of humans without stopping to think." Chief Robbins.
Just yesterday one of the skulls RedBlast put in jail earlyer mysteriously died.
it seems they found scorch marks impieing he was burned. now the question that runs trough our minds is, what if Red did it? do we want him to stay around? Do we send him to Zig?
Luckily Red had a Alibi. apearantly he was at a SG meeting about the base. RedBlast his lawyer showed us the evidence of his precance there. the base marked the time when red came in and the alibi is permissable. altough some people still have doubts considering RedBlast his almost time freezing speed. could he have went to brixtown to get the skull and back within a couple of minutes? some say yes others say its impossible. eitherway looks like Red's in a sticky situation.

The leader of the gang threatens to sue RedBlast claiming they werent doing anything wrong. And stating that the hero's in this city have happy trigger fingers..... or blastfingers whatever.
This might give RedBlast a dent in his career.
