A Warriors Roleplay
Your own little guide to Warriors rp!
Before we begin, you will need to create a character for your rp. If you need help picking a name, you can always use the Warriors name generator below. *Prods generator* Just type in any first name and last name and click 'Get Name'. Voila! You have created a character!
So you want to make a warriors roleplay, eh?
Well you must first ask yourself, what is roleplay (or rp)? If you have never roleplayed before, then you will probably assume it is boring and a complete waste of time. Afterall, it's only acting... isn't it?
Actually, yes, it is only acting. And if you were expecting something more, you must of been mistaken. There are many types of roleplay out there... family rp, mythical rp, Harry Potter rp... but you see, they all have stories behind them. You can change the story line a bit, add in new characters, take out characters... anything! And the best part... you get to pretend to be the characters! Yes, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, Sandstar, you're a lunatic. Well that may be true, but I haven't quite finished with my explanation.
So while you're thinking up wonderful plots and characters, other people are as well. And when you finally manage to act something, other people add on to the story.
Next, you have to remember your basic story-writing rules:
"If a dialogue does not end the sentence, you should put a comma at the end of your dialogue," Just like this.
"If your dialogue does end your sentence, it should look like this."
It is also good to change lines when different characters are talking. Otherwise, it will become a mess like this:
"Hi," said Bob, as he was walking down the street. "Hi," replied his friend. "Wanna come over to my house?" "No, not today." "Tomorrow?" "Maybe, I'll have to ask my mom."
If your conversation keeps going on like that, it will get rather confusing.
Now, for a warriors roleplay in particular, when a character is talking, instead of writing 'said', write:
Meowed
Mewed
Mewled
Yowled
Growled
Hissed
Spat
Grunted
Snorted
Caterwauled
It is also good to use warriors words:
Newleaf=Spring
Greenleaf=Summer
Leaf-Fall=Autumn
Leaf-Bare=Winter
Kittypet=House Cat
Housefolk=Kittypet word for owners
Workfolk=Kittypet word for constructions workers
Monster=Vehicle
Twoleg=Human
Upwalker=Human
Nofur=Human
Thunderpath=Road
Kit=Kitten/Child
To-Be=Tribe apprentice
Moon (Referring to time)=A month
Now for warriors expressions:
As bitter as mouse bile...
StarClan be with you...
May StarClan light your path...
Great StarClan!
Some other cat-related words are always good to add in as well:
Unsheathed
