Stan Timmons...the man, the legend...
Full name : Stanley C. Timmons
Born : July 6, 1966 , Lafayette, Indiana
Education : Graduated Purdue College with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism, and a minor in abnormal psychology (now that's a scary thought!)
Literary History : Stan used to write as a child to entertain himself and as a creative outlet, but parleyed that into a spot on high school paper. (I'll let you know what high school asap) As soon as he finished college, he landed a job writing for the city paper (name to follow later), and after that he went into advertising. (see name of city paper).
He went on to write for some advertising agencies, and one day, found himself at Marvel Comics. He did some writing and some art work for them, then went off on his own to write the next Great American Novel. I know this timeline and ifo is vague, but getting info from Stan is like pulling teeth from a croc that's trying to eat you. As soon as he gets over the shyness, or the ego trip, I can't figure out which one it is...I'll give you a more detailed look at the man. But I do know for a fact that he is now a staff writer for the Lafayette Leader, one of his local newspapers. Well, a man's gotta eat doesn't he? Be sure and write the editor of the Leader spouting the many wonders of his writing abilities. He loves the adoration of his fans. Can't get enough of it in fact. Thrives on it actually...
