The Long Range Hunter

The Long Range Hunter is exactly what the name suggests, a gun designed especially to perform for hunters that need to be able to shoot 200 yards or even longer. Knight has allowed the 27 inch barrel to "free float" in the stock with only two contact points. The free floated barrel performs so well that Knight gurantees it to be able to shoot a three shot 4 inch group at 200 yards.

Another accuracy enhancing feature on the Long Range Hunter is a trigger that adjusts for creep, pull weight, and overtravel. This allows the shooter to fine tune the trigger to their style which aids hunting and range accuracy. Comfort also aids in hunting accuracy and Knight has made sure the Long Range Hunter is comfortable with a cast-off stock for easy shouldering. The cast-off stock is available for both right and left hand shooters.

    The Long Range Hunter is availible in .50 and .52 calibers.The .52 caliber is exclusive to Knight and is designed to deliver serious stopping power at long range for big game hunting. At 200 yards the .52 has 2 inches less drop and delivers almost twice the energy of a .50 caliber gun. Knight guns in .52 caliber have been used to take Africa's biggest game animals and North America's big bears. 

The Knight Extreme

The Knight Extreme is Knight's most popular and affordable bolt action muzzleloader. Like all Knight guns it uses Full Plastic Jacket technology for a completely waterproof ignition system. The Knight Extreme is availible in both .50 and .52 calibers giving hunter's a choice to match their hunting needs. The 26 inch Green Mountain Barrels on the Knight Extreme are of course "accuracy guaranteed" and are availible in blued or stainless steel. Some stock options include a basic black synthetic, a laminated wood, and a camoflaged synthetic with a thumbhole.  

The Master Hunter Extreme

Knight has gone all out to make the Master Hunter Extreme the highest technology hunting muzzleloader availible. Like the Knight Extreme it uses a bolt action (waterproofed for hunting) with a 26 inch barrel. However the barrel has been cryogenically treated, a process involving extreme freezing which allows the steel molecules to realign, relieving internal stress in the barrel. The cryogenicalized barrel carries a 1 1/2 inch three shot group at 100 yards "accuracy guarantee", a full inch better then the untreated barrel! The barrel has also been fluted which looks good and reduces weight at the same time.

Next Knight turned their attention to the action itself.  The bolt has a jeweled finish for smooth operation. The trigger, like the trigger on the Long Range Hunter, is fully adjustable for pull weight, creep, and overtravel.

Finally each Knight Master Hunter Extreme comes with two stocks. A beautiful brown laminated wood one with a thumbhole and a matching black synthetic thumbhole stock. Hunting can be rough on a handsome stock so Knight has made it easy to protect the beauty of the Master Hunter Extreme by giving it's owner the option of using the black synthetic one in the field.
