The Band was formed in October 2007 and managed to perform at sixteen events on behalf of the Royal British Legions in Stafford, Brewood and the Staffords Association - Dover to name a few.
This year (2009) The Corps have seen some of it's younger members move on and are not currently in a position to function as a marching Corps of Drums however, we have combined our strengths and have been able to perform at small concerts, church halls and even the local Theatre with programs such as Drumming through the Centuries from 16th - present day, Irish sets with Whistles, Flutes and Bhodrans and we will be working on new repertoires throughout this year.
We still have the capacity to perform Bugle Fanfares at special events, Commemorations, Funerals etc and will be recruiting across the West Midlands throughout the Spring and Summer months. If you are interested in joining the band as a fifer, flautist, bugler, drummer or other percussion, please get in touch and let us know. We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years and no upper age limit.
