This is my attempt at a website to contain information and pictures of my Datsun 1600's or Bluebird 510 as it is known outside Australia.
These '510 model Datsuns were sold in Australia from 1968 til 1972 primarily.
The blue coloured Datsun P510 pictured below was the very first car that i ever bought and over the years i have owned over 20 of them in various shapes and conditions.
Most of the cars i have owned over the years were 4-door P510 sedans but i have also owned four stationwagons also, (though one was a rolling shell).
My 'grey' Datsun1600 sedan has an L20B engine in it with quad throttle bodies and hi-flow RB20 turbo.
One day in the future i also hope to restore my genuine 1968 'SSS' model P510 to original specs as these are the rare 'sports' model which are seen less and less these days as most were used and abused in rallies and racing etc over the years. Let me know if you have one just like it!
I sold my 'white' Datsun1600 stationwagon a while back that had a mild L20B and 5speed.
Lastly, i have my 4dr 'Honey Brown' sedan which i have converted to a 2dr sedan and installed a FJ20et motor and R32 Skyline wheels and brakes.
My wife Cindy owns a very clean 'white GL' 510 sedan also with only 63,000 original 'column-shifted' miles. Pics to come soon...
