Sunset Hill Elementary Chess Club is an after school activity for 2nd through 6th graders. Any student that is currently enrolled in these grades at Sunset Hill may be a member of the club.
Students wishing to participate must have a permission slip signed by their parents. These permission slips can be obtained through the school's office, or you may download it by clicking here. There is also a small fee of $5 per student. This fee is used to purchase equipment for the club.
Each student will receive training in the basics of chess. They will practice and compete against fellow students. There may also be opportunities for the students to participate in tournaments outside of the school.
