In any show that somebody over 6 watches, there will be couples. Cannon couples, non cannon couples, and couples with made up characters involved.
So, this page will take a look at popular pairings for the show. This will include everything about the pairing we can stuff into it, including a little graphic to put on your site to show support! If you use a support pic, please link it back to this page (or add a link to us nearby).

Chiro and Jinmay
Chiro and Jinmay are, as it stands, already a couple in the series. The first episode, Chiro's Girl, was about them meeting and becoming a couple. So far, the relationship has been very nice, even though Chiro is gone often and therefore does not get to see Jinmay much.
Evidence
There is not much need for evidence in this pairing.
1. Jinmay has been referred to several times as Chiro's girlfriend.
2. Jinmay has given Chiro a kiss on the cheek.(Episode: The Savage Lands Part 2)
3. Chiro and Jinmay are already a couple in the series.
4. Chiro and Jinmay have kissed. (Episode: Ghosts of Shuggazoom)

Sprx and Nova
SprxNova, or "Spova" as some fans call it, is probably the most popular pairing in the fandom. It was fanon for a long time before Soul of Evil, when it officially canoned by Nova's hand , much to the surprise of many fans, who expected Sprx to crack first.
Sprx used to flirt with Nova a lot, and Nova would always beat him up for it. However, nobody knows how the canon is going to affect their actions around one another yet, if we even get to see it. (Save season 5!)
Evidence
1. Sprx constantly flirts with Nova.
2. Sprx is often the first to be worried about Nova when something goes wrong, and vise versa.
3. Sprx is very defensive of Nova.
4. In "The Stranded Seven", Nova falls for one of the cat people. Sprx seems to dislike him and at one point comes out and asks what it takes to get her attention. An event similar to this also happened in "The Sun Riders", when Sprx has a crush on Aurora 6.
5. Sprx and Nova appear to be closer to each other than they are to the other team members.
6. In "A Ghost in the Machinder", Sprx tries to tell Nova something, and he struggles with it.
Sprx- ...and Nova...Nova...
Nova- Yeah, Sprx?
Sprx (Sweating hard)- I... um... I.. well...I...
*Super Robot breaks through the ceiling Sprx immediately flies out the hole it left.*
Nova- Sprx!
Many fans believe that he was trying to tell Nova that he has feelings for her. To add to this, Nova seemed very interested in what Sprx was saying.
7. In "Night of Fear", Nova appears closer to Sprx than the other team members.
8. The pairing offically cannoned in "Soul of Evil". Sprx (under the spell of the Fire of Hate) attacked Nova and attempted to use her as a barganing chip to regain the Skeleton King's skull from the team. But instead, he got into a discussion with Nova.
Nova- Sprx, why are you doing this? Have you forgotten who you are?!
Sprx- I know who I am, and I know what I'm here to do! (Sprx changes the magnetic pull, causing Nova's arms to stretch out and begin to break. Nova screams.)
Gibson- (holding out the skull.) Here, take it. Just let her go.
Nova- No Sprx! Remember all the good you did for the universe! We were supposed to stop Skeleton King from being reborn!
Sprx- No! No... I-I'm supposed to- (Sprx looks at the team, starting to snap back.)
Nova- (crying) Fight it Sprx! I love you too much to lose you!
One of Nova's tears falls onto Sprx. He drops her and stares.After the team uses the Power Primate to remove the darkness from Sprx, he snaps back to his old self. Nova is overjoyed, commenting that she's never been so happy. Sprx lifts her off the ground in front of him and she kisses him on the cheek.

"Sprx-77 and Nova have been paired up it seems since the beginning of the show in small bits and parts. However, direct romantic correlations between the two were almost nonexistent in the first season, say for small glances and smiles in both The Sun Riders and Circus of Ooze. As if though the pair's popularity, the connection between the two ran into the love or hate relationship the two experienced in season 2. Sprx-77 made his feelings apparent in flirtatious ways particularly in episodes such as Versus Chiro as well as some playful banter in Snowbound. The duo reached their emotional peak during Season 3. Some playful and adorable flirting took off immediately in the premier Savage Lands continuing in the next episode Season of the Skull and reaching an emotional high point in Ghost in the Machinder in which Sprx almost outright confessed his love for Nova in a tight spot (although he was interrupted before anything took place) The couple was virtually ignored as a couple for the middle of that season, despite the near confession, and nothing more really happened. This was, of course, until the Season 3 fanale episodes, Wormhole and Belly of the Beast, when Sprx-77/Nova fans really got what they wanted. A couple of serious heartfelt moments between the two got the hearts of many pumping, and when Sprx-77 disappointed Nova and was willing to risk his own life to save her, there melted the hearts of many. Few predicted that by the end of that episode, the two would end up in a warm, and spontaneous embrace. So far Season 4 has been virtually lacking of Sprx-77/Nova development, but I don't doubt that more is on the way! This is why fans around the world chant together the tune of "SPOVA! SPOVA! Nova and Antauri
Although proof can be hard to come by, NovaAntauri is very popular in some fan groups. The pairing may have begun for several reasons. It could be their close friendship, or teamwork, or their maturity level, or maybe, just maybe, somebody just wanted to do something new and it skyrocketed. Who knows?
Evidence
1. Nova and Antauri are a great team and really seem to trust one another.
2. When Antauri returned from what the others thought was certain death (Episode: The Savage Lands Part 2) Nova immediately embraced him crying "It's you.... It really is you!" Many consider this a huge pairing hint.

Otto and Nova
Although people would argue that SprxNova has more hints, many would agree in saying that Otto liking Nova is the most obvious Monkey Team pairing in the show. Otto really seems to like Nova. Of course, this doesn't mean Nova likes him back. There isn't much showing Nova liking Otto and most fans feel that SprxNova is more likely to happen, no matter what Otto thinks.

"1) It wont happen. I know this is Fan Fic but it's a bad feeling when ya couple doesn't make it.
2)It's not that popular. People may WRITE about it but they then say they are Nova Sparx lovers
3) Cannon couples. I often stick with the shows couple.

Gibson and Nova
The GibsonNova pairing is not for the crowd followers. In truth, GibsonNova fans don't have much evidence to work off of, so their choice is mostly off the belief that they would make a great couple. GibsonNova fans go against the grind with their opinion. Is the pairing a statement about fallowing your own beleifs over the crowd, or just another crazy pairing? You decide.

1. After Gibson saves the team from the Vreen (Episode: Invasion of the Vreen), Nova dives on him.

"I guess the reason I love concept of Gibson and Nova, is because I relate them to the real world... looking deeper into their characters essence to see how they would fit rather then what the episodes suggest us.
What I love about Nova as a character is that she is a reincarnation of a true human female spirit, she’s fighting side by side with the guys with all she got... not a modern “hot and sweet, sugar puff and candy corn and the world is just a screwed up fantasy” type of deal that us humans made up over the centuries. She’s a fast beat warrior with the tactics to match, which goes to show that we all have a bit of primal Nova in us... if we could just continue to revive them from the Prehistoric ages.
Gibson is a representation and source of man’s curiosity, being the monkey of science, he is almost a complete invert of Nova. He’s smart, clever, but doesn’t nearly have enough fortitude as Nova does in battle. He saves it for his silent experiments and rather uses his wit and brilliance to outsmart foes in battle. Nova completes him in my opinion, filling his silent loneliness with a feisty heart of fire.
Hence, since love welcomes both imagination, loyalty, intelligence, strength, and and curiosity so willingly; I think if Nova and Gibson got the chance to know each other instead of nosing around in their own little affairs, they would merge together.
Not just as a attractive tempt, not as a sick specie differ relationship, not a brotherly love, or dare I say it... a “love hate” flirt.

Mandarin and Nova
MandarinNova is a strange pairing to say the least, and it's split into diffrent groups as well. Some beleive in Mandova now, some beleive in Mandova only when Mandarin wasn't evil. The idea didn't come from pairing hints as much as it did from the fact that every other monkey had been pairied up with Nova in the past, so why not Mandarin?

Vallina and Skeleton King
Skalina was the first villian pairing to hit big in the SRMTHG fandom. It comes from not only the similarities between the two, but also from how much Vallina seems to care about him (though SK seems to hate her guts after what happened in "Soul of Evil"). Although, other fans say the connection is that of a servant and her master rather than a romantic one.
Evidence
1. Vaillina seems to care about Skeleton King. Her parents even refer to him as "Your dead Skeleton King" while talking to her at one point. (Episode: Secret Society.)
