Roots
God got CONFUSED. You read it right! He got confused on 8th Feb, 1980 and sent me down to earth to be the first child of Pattabhiraman and Geetha Pattabhiraman. Dad's heading a private company and mom is working as a Test Engineer at C.P.R.I Bangalore. Brother entered the scene when I was 7 yrs old (confused again??). Santhosh aka k.p. aka kappe completes what we call a closely knit family.
If ever I could look up to someone sincere, it would be my mom. Dad, of course is nothing less, for he is still the bread winner! Having seen the way they brought us up amidst difficulties and chaos, I sometimes wonder if I could even be 1% of what they are. Somethings just cannot be repaid...
History
I completed my schooling from Snake Army aka (Nagasena Vidyalaya). The school still stands tall with MRM as the princi. People mistook me to be a muggist at school. Hence the name "pundit". I didn't visit the sports field too often. That's because they never played the sports that interested me. I did play a lot with my apartment gang. 1996, that was when I completed my 10th.
Enter PUC - The same confusion (PCMB or PCMC). I landed up with PCMC (phy, Chem, Mat, Comp Sc.) at PPJC (Poorna Prajna Junior College). Imagine a 2nd PUC student going to college in Uniform
That was PPJC. After 2 tough years (which had some good times in between), I ended up with an Electronics seat in RVCE.
The next 4 years were bindaas. Forget the time it took me to understand that I was doing engineering. You'd often find me playing pranks on someone or the other. People remember me for that! There's a whole list of pranks which I intend to put here sometime later! On the whole BE was good. Took me some time to get into groove, but all is well that ends well - First Class with Distinction
After finishing my BE, I gave my GATE and scored 96.53. This I would put as an achievement. 3 months of real hard work. Coaching class from 6.30 a.m to 10.30 a.m and then studies the whole day. These 3 months were the only time I'd say "I studied". I couldn't believe the results though. It was the first time in life that I crossed the 95 barrier and what a way to get that - In an All India Entrance.
I then joined masters in NTU (Nanyang Technological univ www.ntu.edu.sg), Singapore and completed it in quick time.
Present
I am currently working as an Electronics Engineer at PCI Limited, Singapore. Someone interested in what my company does? www.pciltd.com.sg
