Yes life has been a bit hectic recently. I have not had time until now to update my site. But now that I am a college student with time, I am going to work full time on promoting my book. I am married now however my book will still be listed as Herbert and not Chapman. I might just keep it that way for my next book. I have started writing new poems that come from a good place. Not sure when it will be done but I will know when I have enough material for it to be a good book. I think of it as a new chapter in my life.

Well I do hate how I am really bad when it comes to updates. Everything has been about my wedding recently so ya know how it could be. The wedding is in 18 days. I am excited like no tomorrow. But now with a book update. I know of people that bought copies of it. Which is cool to me. Alot was family but I am not sure about other random people. When I check back on the site every morning, I have a good 15-20 new hits. That is a good thing right? I am gonna start working on a new book soon which will be fun. We just have to get past the wedding and then I will have the time to sit and work on it.

I got my author copies last night! I am so excited!! They can be preordered now on the website link on the front page. Its only a couple months now til its really out in the world.

Well the other day I saw an ad in a small loacl paper for authors. It was for a book signing. They are having a big art festivial in September so I called and signed up! My first book signing so far. They are gonna call me back with details in August. YAY!! Im excited. Its been almost a month since I heard the letter below so I am just waiting now for my copies.

I'm so glad you liked it! The official release date of your book is 06-04-05
(although it will be available sooner than that). Your book will be sent to
our printers next Monday. From there, it generally takes between 3-5 weeks
for the first copies to print, then you will receive your author copies.
Your book will post on the PublishAmerica site soon after it goes to the
printers. Pre-release letters will be sent, and your book can be pre-ordered
for delivery as soon as they are printed.

I got my cover art today. Its ok I guess. I am just really blah today. I am trying to get it up on the site so give me some time.

I just sent in my corrections for the book. From what Linda has told me, in about 4-8 weeks I should be hearing from the art department about the cover of my book. I may be a great writer but art is not a strong point of mine.
