Square Games: Fastest Selling Games in Japan Posted by [Omni Cloud] Final Fantasy XI and Kingdom Hearts has shown up recently on the "10 Fastest Selling Games in Japan" list. Final Fantasy XI was in the first place, selling 1,831,843 games. Kingdom Hearts came in number 6th with 415,910 games sold. This list included every Playstastation 2 game's first week of sales.

Squaresoft Now Owns Quest Too. Posted by [Omni Cloud]
Even though Squaresoft bought the rights to the famous Ogre Battle series, they recently bought the development team, Quest, as well. The person responsible for Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story (and soon Final Fantasy XII) is also the same man who started the Ogre Battle series years ago. Having his team be able to work with him on new games may be the best move Square has made in a while.
