Races. Vampires- Undead vamps must drink blood at least once a night to live. The sun will hurt them, vamps can be killed by their heart being damaged beyond repair. Fire magic can seriously hurt a vamp. living vamp- have only some vamp abilities but can live without blood for a time. If they go to long they have a chance to loose control. The sun does not hurt them. Living vamps are made by being bit by a vamp and not dying from it, or in very rare cases, being born from an affair between a vamp and a human or witch. For a vamp to change another pure race into a vamp, they will need to willingly share their blood with their victim, only pure races may be changed, half breeds cannot be. The change must be consentual.   Weres- Are human or other humanoid races that turn into animal form.They most commonly come in wolf, but can be large cats or bears. They have two forms normally- which is humanoid shape -- your normal shape,  and were form. This is a very large half animal and half humanoid form, it is the strongest of all the were forms. In were form you may only use were abilities, and your armor falls off, unless you are wearing the extremely rare were amor.  When in were form weres must adhere to all laws of weres.  To use abilities from their non were form, they must shift back to normal form. Other races are bitten by a were to become a were, but only if the were is excreting the infectious saliva from their special glands. Changing someone must be intentional, and consensual. Weres are extremely resistant to magic while in their were form. were's are killed by silver that stays in the heart or brain, such as a silver bullet. Silver that pierces the skin will hurt the were , and any that stays in will weaken and make the were sick. Witches- Witches are the oldest known race on this planet. They have lived on this planet from the very beginning. Even before the eartheners came. Some say witches are so powerful because they came from this planet, and thus are tuned in to it from birth. They say the planet itself gave them their abilities. Witches do not all come from one source, or one way of believing, instead they come from all over the planet, with many varying beliefs. Some are at war with others, some form covens, or guilds, or even governments. Witches vary so much that its hard to give much of a story on them as a whole. But what can be said is this. Witches accepted the new races with love in their hearts, and at first that love was enough to cause peace in the lands, but soon the human ways of war / greed / and hatred began to show their ugly heads. Some thousands of years ago, witches began to be persecuted, and even killed because of how different they were. This lead to an all out witch war, during this war other human races that have been hidden in shadow began to reveal themselves to the humans. These races mostly all sided with the witches, because the witches were accepting of them, and even respected them. When the war finally ended humans were the minority again, and other races ruled the planet. To this day humankind fears all other races, but with that fear comes respect and humility. With the guidance of the witches the other races learned to be fair leaders, and thus the planet has thrived.                            Guardians- Guardians reside in Aurora. Though some call it the light, because it is said to be too bright for mortals to handle. Guardians hold a great love for all other races, except for demons. Many years back, in very ancient times, a great guardian named Harmonn, formed the order of angels. This orders duty was to go to the other races, and aide them, help them to be great, or just help them to survive. The order originally helped all types of people, but soon they realized that not only demons held great evil. At that time some guardians decided to leave Aurora, and try to persuade the evil ones to turn to good. The majority of these guardians turned evil, and even mated with the other races. The remaining guardians, decided to stay out of the other races live for good. But then came Myrielle, and her great deed she did for the sihde. After seeing how gallantly myrielle was, and how her life and her work had truly changed the sihde, they decided to begin helping the other races again. Though the order of the angels is long dead, guardians love, and bravery will go on forever. Demons- Demons live in the nether. Some call it the underworld (though its truly another dimension.) Demons do not concern themselves with the lives of men. They could care less about any other races, other than guardians, whom of which they have been battling for ages unknown. Demons for the most part are too concerned with the goings on in the nether , and thus have very little knowledge of any other races. (except guardians of course.) Demons live life a little differently than others do. Demons do not see evil, or good. They only see power. They struggle constantly in the nether to gain that power. Commonly the slaugh, any non demons / guardians, see demons as evil, but thats mostly because demons kill ruthlessly when they leave their home land. Demons see any non immortal race as being weak, and thus not disserving of life. (It is the way of the nether.) Any demon that leaves the nether loses all the power he / she once had as well as his / her link with other demons. They become like any other race. Sidhe- Sihde -- Sihde all originate in faery. Faery is a place where all sihde are connected as one soul. There they have amazing powers and abilities. But once they break away from faery, and choose to live on the planet, they lose all of those abilities, and most of the link. However any sihde that meats another will know it instantly. No player character can live in faery. They obviously are earth bound now. However they may visit faery. They will not be linked as before, and their old powers will be weaker, but they will not be shunned. The sihde love one another regardless of anything. Long ago the sihde fought a horribly bloody civil war, and almost destroyed their entire race. It seemed as if the war would go on forever, until one day a powerful guardian appeared. This guardians name was Myrielle, and her message was a message of peace and brotherhood. After years of trying to unite the sihde, myrielle was assassinated. Her remaining followers, in their horror, gathered together to for a powerful spell, removing all hate from the sihde for each other. This spell was so powerful that to this day, a sihde would rather die than kill another sihde. However, if a sihde ever turns to evil that bond is broken, and other sihde will kill him / her with a vengeance unlike any other.   Slayer - Slayers are a race who have trained since birth to slay the various races of the world.     They have many spells to defend themselves, but can still die just like anyone else.   Slayers have trained in the ways of killing the immortal races, and thus have powerful spells with which to do so.   Slayers usually stick together, and keep many secrets from non slayers. Cyborg Cyborgs are half machine, and half living.   All races can be cyborg.  Cyborgs have superior weapon abilities due to their programming.  Cyborgs do NOT have fake brains.  They are alive and think for themselves just like anyone else.  Some cyborgs are more obvious than others.  Most cyborgs blend in perfectly with the rest of the world. Malael The Malael do not come from auquaaria.  They come from an ancient planet that is shrouded in mystery. Nobody knows the name, location, or even the type of planet that the malael come from.  As best we can figure the malael have been on auquaaria ever since the beginning.  The malael are shape changers.  They are masters of changing their bodies molecular structure.  They can condense themselves down to the size of a baseball.  Or flatten themselves to a razor thin sheet as wide as a 2 basketballs. Mystic Mystics Come from the most desolate part of auquaaria.  They have lived in the deep desert of aluncal for ages.  They have lived there for so long that they have naturally lost their eyesight.  Nobody knows why, but for ages now all mystics have been able to see the spirit realm.   Some say the gods took pity on them, others say they are truly spirits themselves.  Select mystics can even request aide from the spirits they see, these mystics are rare, but very powerful.
