Set in the upper Yarra Valley, Springtime Stud has been in operation since the 1970's. In 1984 the stud acquired the beautiful R.P. stallion Naryl Hiawatha who has proved a tremendous asset to the stud. His progeny are easily recognised for their beauty as well as their wonderful temperaments.
The stud has, in recent years, outcrossed to the highly successful English pony, Kilvington Scoundrel. The resulting ponies have been outstanding. Some of them are starting their saddle careers this season. Look out for them on the News page.
Early in 2005, after breeding a stunning filly by Willowcroft Regal Emblem, the stud was fortunate to be able to purchase Willowcroft Royal Appointment, a three year old Emblem colt. Once again he has been chosen for his beauty, movement, temperament and trainability.
Springtime Stud also provides agistment, livery and show preparation facilities. The emphasis is on individual attention to detail. Broodmare care is a speciality .
