The SPPA is not about what kind of marker you use, what team you play for, or even where you are from. It is about bringing fans, players, sponsors and distributors together in the great sport we all love to play and watch. Members can live anywhere in the United States, or even across the world. Again, it is not about the marker you use or the team you play for, but about promoting the sport to everyone.
The SPPA is about sportsmanship and knowing the game is more than about how much paint you send through the air. The SPPA does not look down on new players who don't know a lot of paintball things, but we choose not to as a rule. SPPA members should try to promote the sport and organization across their area of play, just as all the other before you have.
SPPA members believe you help and promote because you want to, not because you have to.
As you can see, the SPPA is about a general attitude when playing.
