Welcome to Sports Autos TTM!  My name is Chad and this site is devoted to listing my daily successes and failures from the awesome hobby of collecting autographs through the mail.  I primarily write to current and retired athletes from the sports of baseball, football, and basketball.  I use Harvey Mieselman's Ultimate Address List for all my requests c/o Home, and I do not sell any of my autographs.  If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at Chad@sportsautosttm.com .

Roy Oswalt  (Didn't send back by 2004 Topps Total, but included a signed Astros card in 136 days c/o Houston Astros)

Tim McGee  (Wide Receiver who played for the Bengals and Redskins.  He is now a sports agent.  Signed a 1991 Fleer in 17 days c/o McGee's Courts 4 Sports)

Tim Irwin  (Offensive tackler who played 14 seasons for the Vikings, Dolphins, and Buccaneers.  He is now a Judge for the Knox County Juvenile Court in Tennessee.  Signed a 1992 Fleer in 55 days c/o Irwin & Reed, also included a business card)

Jeff Herrod  (Linebacker who played for the Colts and Eagles.  Signed a 1991 Fleer, 1992 Pro Set, and 1992 Fleer in 55 days c/o Home)

Ed Johnston  (The last NHL goaltender to play every minute of every game in a season.  Signed a 1975-76 Topps in 12 days c/o Pitssburgh Penguins)

Mike Fitzgerald  (Catcher who played in the majors from 1983-1992, he also shares the distinction of hitting a homerun in his first big league at-bat.  This success marks the longest wait I've ever had for a success at just over 4 years.  Signed a 1989 Topps and included a signed testimony card in 1516 days c/o Home)

Eric Weinrich  (Signed and personalized a 1991-92 O-Pee-Chee in 10 days c/o Portland Pirates where he is a coach)

Curt Giles  (My first hockey success.  Signed and personalized a 1991-92 O-Pee-Chee in 9 days c/o Home)

Jim Ritcher  (An All-American offensive lineman while at North Carolina State, he went on to play in four Super Bowls for the Bills and was selected to two Pro Bowls.  Signed and personalized a 1992 Pro Set and 1991 Fleer in 14 days c/o Home)

Robert Parish  ("The Chief" was a Hall of Fame center who was a 9 time All-Star and 4 time NBA Champion, he was also voted as a member of the NBA's 50 greatest players.  Signed a 1990 Hoops, 1991 Hoops, and 1992 Upper Deck in 10 days c/o Home)

Chuck Bednarik  (Hall of Fame linebacker who was known as one of the most devastating tacklers in NFL history.  He was also the last player to play on both sides of the ball, as he was also a center.  He played on two Eagles NFL championship teams, he was a 10 time All-Pro, and the Bednarik Award (which is given to the nation's best collegiate defensive player) is named after him.  Signed a 2001 Topps Heritage and a 2006 Topps Heritage in 12 days c/o Home)

Gerald Williams  (Signed a 1991 Fleer in 12 days c/o Catawba College where he is the tight ends coach)

Fred Valentine  (Outfielder who played 7 seasons between the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Senators.  Signed and personalized a 1967 Topps in 13 days c/o Home)

Edinson Volquez  (Signed a 2009 Topps Heritage in 131 days c/o Cincinnati Reds, unfortunately he used a dying black sharpie)

Bucky Dent  (Former Yankees shortstop who was a three time All-Star and won two World Series with the team, also named MVP of the 1978 World Series.  Signed a 1978 Topps in 12 days c/o Home)

Bruce Perkins  (Running back who played for the Buccaneers and Colts.  Signed and personalized a 1991 Fleer in 8 days c/o Home)

Jason Terry  (The 2008-09 Sixth Man of the Year signed an 8x10 in 221 days c/o Dallas Mavericks)

Bruce Coslet  (Former Jets head coach signed and personalized a 1992 Pro Set in 7 days c/o Home)

Tom Tupa  (Talented all-around player as he played quarterback and later became a Pro Bowl punter.  Signed a 1992 Pro Set in 9 days c/o Home)

Bob Oldis  (Member of the 1960 World Series champion Pirates, he now works as a scout for the Marlins.  Signed a 1961 Topps in 10 days c/o Home)

Neil O'Donnell  (Quarterback who played 14 seasons in the NFL and was selected to one Pro Bowl.  He finished his career with the lowest interception percentage in league history.  Signed a 1992 Pro Set in 7 days c/o Home)

Ray Horton  (Former Cowboys and Bengals cornerback who is now the defensive backs coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Signed a 1991 Fleer and 1992 Fleer in 48 days c/o Pittsburgh Steelers)

Carlos Huerta  (The "iceman" kicked for the University of Miami, and then went on to play in the CFL, NFL, and AFL.  Signed and personalized a 1992 Fleer in 9 days c/o Home.  Also sent a nice thank you note for my letter and the extra cards I added for him to keep)

Thane Gash  (Safety who played 4 seasons in the NFL for the Browns and 49ers.  Signed a 1991 Fleer in 17 days c/o Home)

Tim Green  (Linebacker and defensive end who played for the Atlanta Falcons.  He is also an accomplished author.  Signed a 1990 Score and 1991 Pro Set in 124 days c/o Home)

Stan Humphries  - Failure - Returned my card unsigned with a note saying it was the "wrong Stan Humphries."  The address came from Harvey 08, does anyone have a different address?

Roger Mason  (Nice success from the former pitcher as he included several extra autographs.  Signed a 1987 Topps, '87 Donruss, '86 Topps Traded, '86 Fleer Update, '93 Donruss, and '94 Score in 109 days c/o Traverse City Beach Bums.  I have an extra '86 Topps Traded autograph that I will give away to someone who sends a SASE for it)

James Hadnot  (Running back who played 4 seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs.  Signed and personalized a 1982 Topps in 8 days c/o Home)

David Hughes  (Fullback who played 6 seasons in the NFL for the Seahawks and Steelers.  Signed and personalized a 1982 Topps in 7 days c/o Home)

Tim Jorden  (Played tight end for 4 seasons for the Cardinals and Steelers.  Signed a 1991 Fller and 1992 Fleer in 7 days c/o Home)

Shelby Ford  (Pirates prospect signed a 2008 Justifiable in 125 days c/o Indianapolis Indians.  I have a duplicate autograph of this card to give away to the first person to e-mail me and request it, all that is needed is a SASE)

Larry Gura  (Pitcher who played 16 seasons, most coming with the Royals.  He reached double figured in wins for 7 straight seasons and was an All-Star in 1980 when he won 18 games and had a 2.95 ERA.  Signed a 1981 Topps in 7 days c/o Home.  I included a 1984 Topps that he kept, and I added a $4 donation)

Update:  I made the 1 hr. drive to Shreveport, LA today to get the autograph of Billy Cannon, the 1959 Heisman Trophy winner from LSU.  He was doing a free signing and was as nice as could be.  In addition to winning the Hesiman, he also led LSU to its first national championship and is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.  He went on to have a terrific pro career and was one of the most celebrated players in the AFL.  Mr. Cannon signed a LSU 8x10 and two 1997 Upper Deck cards  (one of which is for a member of Sportsgraphing.com.)

Dann Howitt  (Played parts of 6 seasons in the majors for the A's, Mariners, and White Sox.  Signed a 1990 Fleer, 1991Upper Deck, and 1992 Donruss in 300 days c/o Home.  Notice how he put "Hey Tom" on the bottom of his '90 Fleer that he shares with Tom Drees.  Most likely assuming that I'll be sending it on to Drees for him to sign as well......which I probably will)

Dexter Jackson  (Wide receiver signed a 2008 Score in 276 days c/o Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Update:  Just wanted to congratulate local athlete and Cincinnati Reds outfielder, Drew Stubbs, for getting his call up to the majors today.  He just got his first big leage hit, a double, off of Barry Zito.  If anyone has access to obtaining a ticket stub from today's game in Cincy, I will definitely pay you for it.

Update:  In addition to today's success, I also received a 2007 Topps '52 Justin Upton autograph for my set from a purchase with a fellow member on Sportsgraphing.com.

Update:  Just wanted to let you all know that Chris of SASE Sports Sigs is back in the game and is updating his site regularly.  I consider Chris one of my mentors in the hobby and am very thankful for his friendship since I began collecting autographs through the mail.  Make sure to give his site a visit!  In addition to today's TTM success, I also received a couple of autographs in from 50/50's from members of Sportsgraphing.com.  Alex was able to get me a signature of one of the Pirates top prospects, Pedro Alvarez, as well as Nationals prospect, J.P. Ramirez.  Also, Aaron completed a great 50/50 by getting me an autograph of Jim Thome on a commemorative 500 homerun 8x10.  Thanks guys!
