Sporting Branston
A bit of background, we are a team who play in the Scottish Futsal League - Perth, this is the only recognised Futsal league in Scotland.
Founded in late 2005 we started out playing in the league in January 2006, we quickly realised that futsal wasn't going to be easy to dominate and we struggled to impose ourself on the league. We gained our long-awaited first victory against PYF Samba Kingz in a thrilling match-up in October 2006. Branston LTD kindly provided us with our first ever kit. This was an all blue kit with yellow trim and our change kit is Red and White hoops with red shorts and socks.
The teams best ever season was the 2008/2009 season when they earned their first ever promotion with their highest ever points total with some memorable victories in phase 1. Phase 2 however did not go to plan and we struggled to turn our often superior play into victories.
2008/2009 season also saw Branston crowned Fair Play winners and Alan Lothian recieved a nomintation for First Division player of the year.
