Splendacrest Horses

Splendacrest is primarily interested in breeding tall, athletic horses, that will be trained for endurance riding.  Registration with breed societies is of no interest to us, and so we look for mare and stallion combinations that will produce a good looking and (hopefully) promising foal.

This website is designed purely to give anyone who is interested, an insight into what horses Splendacrest has bred, and the type of horse Splendacrest is interested in purchasing in the future.

2007 Foals

Splendacrest Jazz has just foaled a big grey (born chestnut) colt by Dunwingeri Sakami ibn Maakir.  I am very excited about this foal, and he will be named Splendacrest Jive.

Blythswood Shades of Silque, a purebred mare, has just foaled a very pretty grey (born liver chestnut) colt by Splendacrest Zafire.  His name will be Splendacrest Sequin.

The beautiful Thoroughbred mare, Apple A Day, has just foaled a huge grey (born liver chestnut) colt by Splendacrest Zafire.  His name will be Splendacrest Axiom.

Photos of these three are on the "Geldings" page.
