Legend of the flute

Legend has it that the first wooden flute was made by nature and found by chance.  An Indian brave walking through the woods kept hearing a strange and melodic sound each time the wind would blow.  He followed the  music to its' source.  The young brave found that a hollow branch had snapped and was barely clinging to the tree.  The wind was blowing through holes that had been made by a woodpecker searching for food.  The young brave broke off the branch and the magic of the flute was born.

Kokopelli

Kokopelli is a character that represents the spirit of music and fertility.  He has been a sacred symbol to Native Americans for thousands of years having been found as a petroglyph in caves of the Southwest.  Kokopelli is one of the most widespread images to have survived from the ancient Anasazi culture.  Kokopelli brings well-being to the people assuring success in hunting, planting, growing crops, and human conception.
