A friend of mine has been going to her local spiritualist church for years and firmly believes in the after life and the world of spirits. She is a devout believer in Christianity and the existence of God. She has had Medium ship lessons from her local churches medium and has attended healing sessions, “open circles” in the hope of making contact with friends/family on the other side, but to no avail. My friend knows when spirit is around her but that is as far as it goes.

She sees “colours” but has never had a vision or had a message until last Thursday when her church was visited by a bizarre gentleman.

Thursday was an open circle night and on this occasion was jam packed with strangers which was unusual. A tall, slim, smartly dressed all in black, gentleman entered the church at which point my friend immediately became extremely uneasy at his presence in there. The open circle carried on and this gentleman appeared to be an exceptionally good medium. My friend did not receive any messages from any of the mediums there and the night up to that point passed without a hitch apart from this feeling of severe unease at his presence.

After the service ended my friend retired to the vestry to have a few words, and to have a cup of tea before leaving for home, with the medium that organises the visiting mediums to the church. However he was talking to this dark man so my friend sat in a chair opposite to wait for the moment he was free to chat to her, she still felt very uneasy and it was at that moment the most surprising thing happened. Out of the wall in the far corner of the church stampeded a herd of terrified horses, stallions and they rushed between her and this tall dark thin man. Immediately after the horses 3 Texas Rangers appeared out of the mist walking through tall grass dressed in leather bomber jackets, their legs could not be seen because of the tall grass and they also began to walk between them. The vision was not seen in colour it was black and white, the horses where not ponies but thoroughbred and had long manes and it was apparent they were running from something which had scared them as they were very wide eyed.

My friend was unnerved by the whole thing but noticed the tall dark gentleman handing over a business card to the person she was waiting to talk to. The dark man moved away and my friend began to try and explain what she had seen to her but was unable to finish as the dark gentleman remained within ear shot. My friend then telephoned me and described her experience.

My friend went back to the same church on the following Sunday and managed to talk to a very experienced medium about her experience. This medium also admitted to being unnerved by this dark mans appearance at their church and she described him as “Devil like”. My friend managed to describe her vision in detail to this lady and whilst doing so was interrupted by another experienced medium who had overheard and tried to explain the vision. He asked if the horses came from the dark man. My friend said, “No”.  He went on to say that the horses came to protect my friend as did the Texas rangers. My friend asked “Protect me from what”? She was told bad spirits, possibly from this dark man. Horses protect as do Texas Rangers. He also went on to say that this dark man may have opened the gateway for her to the spirit world but be careful because the spirit world can have a dark side.

I must apologise to the entire spiritualist world out there that read this, in case I have used incorrect terminology. It was not intended to cause offence. Please accept my apologies for my ignorance but I am telling this as it was told to me.
