Gravity Drive Engines
|
The purpose of this site is to promote research that will lead to gravity drive engines for spaceships. I have wanted to go for a ride in a spaceship since I was ten. Not a rough and tumble rocket that requires strapping thousands of pounds of explosives to your rump and igniting them. A real spaceship, with a smooth ride, and fast travel. A lot of people probably do. I am not getting any younger, so somebody please build one soon.
As a result of dialogue between me and Sol I have come to some conclusions. Only part of this theory is correct. Space time is best described as a liquid crystal super fluid that exerts pressure on energy that translates as curvature. The big bang is a heavily compressed super fluid erupting into space-time. Gravity and expansion arise from bubble nucleation in super fluids. There is no such thing as empty space. Even the space between electrons and a nucleus is filled with space-time Compression in space-time exhibits as gravity. I present The Superfluid Model at http://www.freewebs.com/superfluid/index.htm

I am presenting my theory of structural and field singularity pair bonding. If proven true it would make gravity drive engines possible. I did a lot of calculations looking for proof and made a fundamental discovery. The universe is a very strange place. You can predict a lot of things, like worm holes or mangled matter, with some really elegant equations. Only verifiable results can prove something true, and proving a theory false teaches you a lot about what is true. The better a theory predicts observable phenomena, then the closer it must be to true.
While gravity is not a rubber sheet the analogy made by Relativity is valid. A rubber sheet has a structure that determines its behavior and so does gravity. The dimple in space-time that gravity creates is caused by a relativistic structure.
I propose that gravity is a deformation in the structure of mass. To understand gravity we must first understand the universe.
The universe is a particle in the process of changing state. Everything it contains are different energy states of the same stuff, even gravity.

The rules of behavior
|
If we add or subtract energy, to or from a particle, the value of some parameter will change approaching a limit where larger energy changes produce decreasing changes in value. This curve describes an asymptote approaching a limit. At some point close to the limit a spontaneous change in state could occur.
This is not new. Relativity proves this to be true for mass as it approaches light speed. I am just expanding the definition a little. Essentially I am saying that Relativity applies to the entire universe and all it contains. What I am adding is that, to get mass to reach light speed it would have to change state, that is, become light. At velocities very close to light speed, this might happen spontaneously. Further, that this rule would apply to all energy states because all energy states are a subset of the universe.
You cannot make it go any faster or get any hotter, but you can add so much energy that it must change state to hold that much energy. Nuclear reactions would work on this model. This satisfies the maxim that, nuclear fission is initiated by adding energy, in some other way.
Consider how pervasive the concept of limits and asymptotes would be. Say we have a particle at rest. We observe this particle being converted to light energy at velocity C. The particle went from zero velocity to C in a very short time span. The instantaneous acceleration would have a limit approaching infinity.

Lets build a universe
|
Lets design a universe. First we start with a particle of static time. It has no motion of any kind. No molecular motion, no electrons, or atoms. It is homogenous and has no internal structure. If undisturbed it will remain static forever.
There is another definition that is just as valid. This piece of static time energy could be defined as a smaller particle with infinite velocity. It exists at all points at all times. It has no discernable motion because it exists everywhere at once. Infinite velocity defines a solid.
If we remove a little bit of energy we create something new. Slow the tiny particle down to anything less than infinite velocity, and it cannot occupy all points at all times. It is no longer homogenous.
It quickly rearranges its size to fit this new energy state. As a smaller energy package it is again homogenous, smaller now by the amount of energy that was removed. Because it is static time, the change in size, was observed to be instantaneous. It was not quite instantaneous though. The change in energy states is a time frame with a limit-approaching zero

Singularity building blocks
|
Because the time dilation across this event is absolute, another definition of time emerges. During the change in energy states dynamic time was created. Time was converted to motion. The internal time has a limit approaching infinity. Time and motion are inversely proportional and mutually transferable. Time can be static or dynamic.
The internal mechanism of a change in energy states defines our universe. It has a time frame with a limit approaching infinity to evolve in. It breaks up and reforms. What it breaks into is pieces of motion. We will name these particles structural singularities.
Each of these structural singularity particles has a velocity with a limit approaching infinity. Due to conservation of energy, if we combine the motion of all the particles, they are one particle short, of having enough energy to combine and re-form the initial static time particle. Our new universe does not contain enough energy to stop or reverse time. It does allow changes in time, but only in one direction. The rate of progression through time is dependent on its frame of reference. The motion and time equivalency transference thingy applies.

What is mass
|
To again become homogenous the structural singularities break up until they are much smaller and all of their motions are internal. They evolve into field singularities spinning into themselves. As an end to the process, the particles combine their spins, to produce a new and smaller static time particle.
The entire universe is the internal process of a single particle changing state. The mechanism of change is from structural singularities to field singularities. Light and mass exist as intermediate stages of the process. Mass = (S + F)
Some of a particles energy is contained in its structure and some of its energy is contained in its field. The ratio of S to F is what defines the energy state of matter. Now we have to account for how this affects the mass energy formula E = MC2.
If we substitute F for M then E = FC2 actually describes the amount of energy that is changed from field to structure. This accounts for light having both particle and wave behavior.
|
Putting the pieces together
|
This defines several energy states of matter. Mass would exist as that energy state with most of its energy in its field and little in its structure. At C velocity, light, would have most of its energy in its structure and little energy in its field. A particle with all of its energy in its structure would be a structural singularity. A particle called a field singularity then follows by definition.
The energy states of mass and light have a commonality. They exist as a pair bond between a structure and a field. The other two forms are more exotic.
|
How it starts
|
In the beginning the universe contained only structural singularities. By definition they have no gravity. With no gravity they would try to zip along at infinite velocity, occupying all of space at all times. The only way a structural singularity could actually achieve infinite velocity, is to exist alone in the universe.
Being densely packed they would lose velocity. Collisions occur. The ones that are slowed down enough undergo a change in state. The rapidly expanding universe would be filled with gamma ray bursts creating an immense background radiation field.
The light energy is further compressed by the structural singularity impacts. Some of the light loses velocity and changes state. As a function of losing C velocity, it becomes mass energy. Hydrogen is born.
At some point approaching infinite density, the structural energy, of mass, would be converted into field energy. It would become a field singularity. All of its mass exists in no space.
