Click
the above link to open the forum access, which will show as a request to join as
a member, if not already accepted into the forum.
An
already accepted member will go directly to the main directory, if the above
link is clicked.
MAKE
SURE YOU STILL HAVE YOUR YUKU MESSAGE PAGE OPEN
OR AT LEAST STILL LOGGED
INTO YUKU. If not, you will see an error message
page, with log-in at top left and wording on page like this.... Error 401
Unauthorized.

If the error page is seen, then
log-in using the inputs to top left,
for User Name and Password. Click the
'LOG IN' button to log-in.
Regardless of it being
a '401 error' or an ordinary 'view this page'.
Just enter normal log-in
details.

If NOT a member of the forum, this page
should be seen....
Those from the AOL message boards can give some
detail as to old screen name or say if invited by someone. If new the all this
just say. If you are joining after seeing a help page
on my web site, then say so.
When ready click
the 'Apply for Membership' button.

When the 'Apply for
Membership' button is clicked, this window will open....

You will need to wait for
an e-mail, this may be a long or short wait.
Or wait for a mail from the
community, to appear in your Yuku mail inbox.
An e-mail received, may look
like this.....
Click the link in the e-mail and it will
take you to the in-box.
If still
logged into Yuku, then same mail will be in the messages in-box area.
The
received e-mail will actually get you to the same location as this....
Open
the message from the community,
a link will be seen AOLCOMMUNITY, if you are accepted.
Click that link AOLCOMMUNITY to go to the forum
directory area.

If all has gone as expected, you should find
yourself here.
Read 'Rules'. Then make a stop at the 'New Members' to
introduce yourself.
After that, you are free to look around, read or post as
you wish.
There are various routes to gain
access to this location, not just the link on my web site or this help page. It
is impossible to indicate all ways, so have fun finding them.
There is
a navigation worded button to top right of view. Give it a click.
A
section will drop down. See next part 5.

This area can be used to
select various communities you may have joined.
Another case of look around
and see what you can do.
Generally, if you have a problem, ask
for help. None of us know exactly what everything does, but most likely someone
has done whatever it is. If not, we can all learn.
Other
forums may use the same type of membership application.

One last item. If you click the Yuku link
on my help or the aolcomuk or any other Yuku based link anywhere. If you are not
logged into Yuku, except for the yuku.com main page, then a 'You must first log
in' or an eorror message will most likely appear. You need to enter your User
Name and Password into the area to top left and LOG IN..........
DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE AND CLICK SIGN
UP.
