6-20-09 Avicularia versicolor : we just obtained a male and after a few days of feeding we introduced him to our and female and they didn`t wait long. Male inserted 4 times in a five minute span and when he was done was able to walk away.
6-30-09 Avicularia versicolor : after making a spern web male was put back in with the female and again mated with her. Female walked away after he was done. She went back to her burrow and followed and then she got defensive towards him but nothing happened. He back away and was returned to his cage.
7-25-09 Poecilotheria regalis: male was shark tanked and introduced into females cage
8-1-09 Avicularia versicolor : opened sac and found 13 possibly good eggs. remaining eggs dried up.
8-20-09 Poecilotheria regalis : male and female cohabitated for about 2 weeks, female was found with male in her mouth. Pleanty of drumming witnessed but no mating witnessed.
9-2-09 Tapinauchenius gigas: Male approached, at first female did not respnd. Female turned, they both began drumming and the female presented herself to him 3 times. 3 good insertions observed. Male removed after he turned away. He will be reintroduced again in a day or so.
8-22-09 Poecilotheria rufilata: male was shark tanked in her cage and left for 3 days
8-25-09 Poecilotheria rufilata: male was introduced to female. drumming started immediately by both. she coxed him into her tube so I couldn`t see if anything happened.
9-4-09 Poecilotheria rufilata: The pair are still together and hanging out in her tube together. Male has made another sperm web.
9-24-09 Poecilotheria ruffilata: male and female are still together. male has made another sperm web on 9-20-09.
10-3-09 Tapinauchenius gigas: female laid egg sac
