1000 years ago, the planets known as the Silver Millenium were ruled by Queen Serenity in the Moon Kingdom. Everything was peaceful, until the Negaverse waged war against the Moon Kingdom, and unleashed the Negaforce. Everything on the Moon was destroyed, so with the last of her energy Queen Serenity sent the Princess and her Royal Court to the future on Earth, hoping they would live away from all evil...

Now, a 14 year old girl named Serena who is clumsy, not too bright and not exactly hero material gets told she is Sailor Moon by the talking cat Luna, and that she must fight the Negaverse. With the help of the Sailor Scouts, and the mysterious Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Moon always saves the day!
