Sonia's Diaries Storthes hall asylum

Upon arriving at Storthes Hall I began to feel that things would happen tonight. Firsty walking down the drive with Darren and the rest of the SPI..We both heard what we could only discribe as a scream, we both looked at each other as we both heard it..After entering the building for our walk about and finding our bearings.. Myself and Darren entered the first room on the upstairs level. We both stayed there for a while to see what we could picked up.. I picked up what I can discribe was that, that room was once used as ward with 4 beds, Darren confirmed this to me also,we then began to ask out is there any one there!! as we was asking out I began to cry and feel very emotional and then decided to leave to room.So we then walked into the corridore and stay there for a while with Jonathan (qed) and Phil(spi). We all could smell leather it was very strong.no one had leather on them or wearing it..After we had a break myself and Darren then went to the front of the building outside.. Darren was given a vision he stepped back intime to the year 1950. As I saw this I left Darren and walked toward the front enterance I picked up on a gentleman stood watching us, but it was like he more scared of us as we was of him, so we just left him..We then walked to the back of the building to see what else we could find out or pick up, I picked up on a lady in the back area which is now just rubble. Also I picked up on a black dog!..

We decided to go again upstairs on the first floor and conduct a vigil in the hallway as we was filming I felt a gentleman walk toward myself anf Darren..We heard what we thoughts to be footsteps and bangs on this vigil. After a short break the SPI core team , ie myself, Darren , phil & Ste did a vigil in the first room on the first floor we tried table tipping in hope to contect the gentleman in the room. The table at one point felt like it had been kicked a few times all the members around the table their lags was away from it. Myself , Darren & Ste was on the table, Phil was filming I felt a gentleman enter the room I feel he didn’t even know how to add up or his name, I felt like screaming into Ste’s face why I don’t know, I also felt the gentleman was running around the table laughing at us..We also tried the glass but nothing happened as I think they don’t understand us.. We all went outside into the hallway where I felt a gentleman stood behind Phil in the doorway of one of the side rooms..

Myself and Darren and Lousie all went upstairs again after a short break! We was filming and was picking up a gentleman stood at the end of the hallway. We stood there for a while and waited for him to make contect with us but I felt like he was just watching us..So as time was pressing on we called it a night at Storthes Hall Aslyum..

All in all I think this was a fab location and we hope the SPI & QED will be going back in the very near future.

I think there is more at Stothes Hall and cant wait to go back..

Main admin Storthes hall.

This location on the outskirts of Huddersfield town centre is were we descended with co group Q.E.D we turned up at strothes hall lunatic asylum .
The night began with us going of in different directions myself and sonia decided to make our way round the building on the outside as we approched the building earlier on we both heard a scream so we just had to go back to the front.As you can see in the pic above this is the main admin enterance just to the left is were we stood i was leaning on the mesh fence looking up at the building and i found myself being drawn back in time i say around the 1950s i could see a nurse leaning out of a second floor window shouting down at another nurse who was wheeling a trolley towards an ambulance why i saw this ive no idea as there was no messages with it i feel i was given vison of it in its hey day ,then i was back in the present at this time Sonia said i feel someone is in the enterance and we both homed in on the same location he was situated in the front arch to the right a small man but i got the feeling he was more scared of us to be honest so we left him be.
Later we made our way up stairs to the second floor for me i feel we was being watched but from a distance we asked out but failed to get any response so we continued to search the rooms upsatairs may i add the second floor as is the case for most of the building is quite unsafe so walking about had to be taken with caution i saw a downs syndrome child on the upper floor and i also picked up on a tall guant fellow who i felt was some kind of cartaker of the building alas after a while we made our way back down the stairs for a short break.
Later we decided to go into an upstairs room and conduct a glass experiment as we was in flow were i must say with very little movment of the glass i could see a guy who what has to be described as off his head running around the circle laughing as i said what i could see sonia burst out into a fit of laughs and said she could see him also we tried to make contact with him but i felt he was totaly of his head and i felt in life he didnt even know his own name poor sole he seemed happy though in his own way .After a while of having little sucsess we made our way over to a little room were previously when phil went in there Sonia ,Jonny (Q.E.D)and myself smelt what has to be described as new leather but Jonny could smell lavender but it seemed to coinside when phil made his way into the room it has to be said it was quite strong.
So we tried the glass in the room but alsas we failed to get anything again and the night afterwards seemed to go pretty much the same although i picked up on a nurse in the corridor down stairs who was small in stature but was quite large round the mid-driff.
CONCLUSION
It has to be said quite a eerie place but i was disappointed at the lack of paranormal activity although on a sensative point i was pleased with what i picked up on the night and its worth going back .

I would like to thank Q.E.D for inviting us along to storthes hall asylum most interesting place..

All in all if you are considering going to this place as you can see in the pictures its very unsafe in places so caution is a must.
S.P.I ON A PRIVATE INVESTIGATIONDarren's diaries

Before i even arrived at this location i had great anticipation for what we was going to encounter at this location .
The evening started with a tour of the building and from the upper levels on a sensative point of view all was calm .As we made our way to the lower levels to were the cells were it took on a different perspective altogether .The air level seemed to be heavy complete with what i felt an old type of smell in the air these corridors had obviously not been touched for at least 50 years apart from storage.

Any how when we got down to business we started on the upper level i myself felt nothing was with us and after a while we moved on to the lift were a sighting of a woman had been seen by staff of the place we were at but alas myself and Sonia failed to pick up on this although it has to be said i personaly did not like the corridor it had a strange type of smell and it got my breath at times as there was no activity here we moved onto the cells at the very lowest level of the building and this was were things started to happen .
As we was locked in and the only other person in the building was four floors up i felt this was the perfect time for us to conduct our investigation with confidence that there would be no outside influence as the three of us was all alone locked up in the cells .
For a while we stayed out in the corridor whilst phil was alone in the cell myself and sonia could hear clicks on the otherside of the locked gate and i had a rush of cold air on my face i felt he was male and i was picking up he was a police officer and just came to see what we was doing he came and looked then moved on .
Later in the evening we then conducted a glass experiment in the cell this is were we got a very interesting experiment in making contact and rather i go in to detail over this i will post the video of what we did .
All in all i found this to be a worth while investigation and its one the S.P.I shall return at a later date.
