11/20/08: SPHRA is proud to announce the first special event of 2009! Starting out in Crazy Arena, Steve Parry usually produces a birthday celebration show right around the weekend of his birthday. The tradition has died down the past 2 years with regular season Thunder Jam dates, but its coming back for the 2009 season! The best news of all, is it won't be in Crazy Arena this year! That's right, its going someplace...BIGGER!! Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, OH will be hosting Crazy's 19th Birthday Bash! Get ready for a night not to remember featuring 2 Rambo trucks & 8 other trucks making a field of 10 monsters to do battle in the jungle! More information will released as its become available!!
11/19/08: We are exactly 1 week away from the first annual SPHRA Turkey Bash coming to the Seagate Center in Toledo, OH! The list of superstars is growing each day! Event Director, Steve Parry, has raised the line-up to a new level, now featuring 7 monster trucks including: Rambo, Half Breed, X103 Xtreme, Skitso, Skull Crusher, Canadian Force, & Wild Turkey. Also on hand will be the display debut of PMR's new truck, Nothin' But Trouble! Make sure to make it out to the pit party where you can get all your favorite driver's autographs and more! And more you ask? Well how about some superstars of Hollywood? Thats right, making special guest appearences include John Madden, Meatwad (from Aqua Teen Hunger Force), & Jessica Alba (from everyone's you-know-what fantasies)! Also, back with the SPHRA, everyone's all-time favorite announcers: MOOSE & JOE MOMMA! They will all be at the Seagate Center, signing autographs and meeting fans! SPHRA announces the last special event of the year! To take place December 24, 2008, it is the SPHRA Christmas Eve of Destrucksion! It will be coming live from the St. Paul Civic Center in St. Paul, MN! 6 SPHRA monster trucks will be on hand for all the destruction! Trucks so far include Rambo, Adrenalizer, and more to be determined! Tickets will go on sale Black Friday (November 28) at the St. Paul Civic Center box office, sirtickets.com and all sirtickets outlets! Order yours next week and give anyones favorite Christmas present early, a night of monster mayhem & destruction!!
11/07/08: The final line-up has been set for the upcoming Thanksgiving Bash! The final truck in the field will be Kevin Payne's Tapout! Kevin is a former SPHRA Racing Champion and multi-year veteran of the SPHRA tour. He will close out of champion filled line-up where he will bash heads with the 2-Time & Reigning Series & Co-Freestyle Champion, Steve Parry & Rambo, along with the 2-Time Freestyle Champion, Josh Rhodes & the Half Breed! Closing out the field still includes Robby Haught's Skitso, Dave Collard in Skull Crusher, and Jeff Bruzee piloting Wild Turkey (Adrenalizer's alterego)! You do not want to miss it! 10/25/08: SPHRA announces Thanksgiving Special 2008! SPHRA will be hosting a special Thanksgiving monster truck extravaganza on Wednesday, November 26, 2008! The show will be located at the Seagate Center in Toledo, OH. It will feature 6 SPHRA monster trucks including Rambo, Half Breed, Skitso, Skull Crusher, Wild Turkey, and 1 more truck still to be announced! Complete show information will be available on the SPHRA discussion board on www.mtm2draggers.net in the near future! The biggest news of all of this is that this show will be the first, of potentially many, filmed events! Thats right, this show is going to be filmed for the first ever episode of Thunder Jam with commentary from the drivers and more! Be sure to check out all the details as they come available. Also, make sure you get your tickets when they go on sale November 1!

The show will feature 8 of the top SPHRA Monster Trucks including Rambo, Tapout, Skull Crusher, Skitso, The Boogeyman, American Dream, The Grim Reaper, and Carquest Crusher! The show will feature wheelie, racing, and freestyle competitions that will push all the trucks to the edge! Tickets are still avaliable, call the Freedom Hall box office or visit sirtickets.com for more ticket information!
Toronto, ON, Canada is expected to be World Finals Quality! SPHRA has announced today its official line-up for this years Toronto Thunder Jam in the Rogers Centre! Returning winners from last year, Steve Parry in Rambo & Josh Rhodes in Half Breed will be returning with 10 other monsters looking to knock them off the top of the food chain! This year's show will be even bigger then last year! The St-Louis style racing format will be back, but as a special treat for our fans up North, there is a 2nd racing competition being added! That's right, the night will feature 2 racing competitions (different formats) and the fan-favorite freestyle competition, packed into 1 monster night! Tickets are going fast, call the Rogers Centre box office or sirtickets.ca for more ticket information! The monsters are back in a big way, don't you miss it!!
