We are a four-piece band, hailing from the one and only Warrenton, Virginia. We play whatever we feel like playin. Blues...Hard Rock...whatever mood we're in at the time. We try to keep it different so you can't possibly stop listening. You may recognize some of their more popular tunes such as The Brice Song, The Electric Shoe, and Fat Cats to name a few...

More About Us

John Guy: A Senior at Fauquier High School. John has been playing for 4 and a half years now. John is also the guitarist for Tone Deaf. John is also working on starting up a new band to keep him busy when the rest of SPF leaves. They are called M.I.T. (Made in Ticonderoga), and the other members are Alex Ritchie, Craig Levy, Mike Payne, and maybe some other guy...?

  • Favorite Bands: Metallica, AC/DC, Pantera, Fear Factory, Lamb Of God, Tone Deaf, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Ozzy, Black Label Society, System Of A Down, and Alter Bridge.


DJ: a FHS '06 alumni, Dj has been playing for about 12 years, give or take some. DJ plans to attend Virginia Tech in August, majoring in Materials Science and Engineering (a back-up plan, I assure you). He's also the drummer for Tone Deaf whenever the guys get a chance to rock out.

  • Favorite Drummers: Carter Beauford (DMB) - best today, John Bonham (Zeppelin) - best ever, John Dolmayan (SOAD), Chad Smith (RHCP), and Steve Jordan (JM3)


  • Biggest Musical Influences: Aerosmith, AFI, Led Zeppelin, Dave Matthews Band, Jet, System of a Down, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers


Pauly: also a FHS '06 alumni. Pauly has been playing bass for about a year now and likes to argue with DJ and John about what counts as good music. Pauly will be going to Middle Tennessee State University this fall, learning to become a music engineer.

  • Favorite Bands: The Pixies, The Breeders, Sonic Youth, Air, Blur, The Eels, Engine Down, Marcy Playground, Pavement, The Rapture, Talking Heads, TV on the Radio, Velvet Underground, XTC and Veruca Salt


J Wall, aka Justin Wallace: a FHS '06 alumni too, J Wall He has been playing guitar for about 6 years, although a lot of that time was spent learning to play other instruments as well. J Wall will be attending Lord Fairfax for one year to get his freshman credits out of the way and focus on his composing. He enjoys writing classical music and plans to go away in the fall of 2007 to study Music Composition.
