Crime solving just got a face lift.
Crime always has a price. Somebody's got to play.
Cliché ridden but fun garbage, 23 August 2005
Author: janinealix from United States
Horatio Caine and his gorgeous (fe/male) cohorts solve all sorts of crimes with skill - and machines that are cutting-edge, yet non-existent in CSI workplaces. Each time Caine opens his mouth, it's a cliché, and the only way I can tolerate the show is by counting the number of silly comments. Within four minutes, he had mentioned 3 clichés and his friend, the female coroner Alex, had mentioned 2; both pause as if delivering a punchline, and Caine (Caruso) often lets the door close behind him right after speaking. That being said, it's all fun. "You know what you get for playing with fire.." he mentioned,"you get burnt" after a criminal left ash to be found by these wonderful cops. If you're into this light fare, you'll love it. For some inexplicable reason, all children open up immediately to Caine and tell him their secrets. For once, unlike on NYPD Blue, we don't have to see Caruso's butt exposed in every show. What a blessing. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0442658/

Horatio Caine, a former homicide detective, heads a group of investigators who work crimes amid the steamy, tropical surroundings and cultural crossroads of Miami. His team includes Calleigh Dusquene, a bilingual Southern beauty with a specialty in ballistics; Tim Speedle, a cocky yet disarming investigator who is well connected on the street, and Eric Delko, an underwater recovery expert who knows all the twists and turns of the Florida waterways. Rounding out the team is Alexx Woods, the no-nonsense, know-it-all coroner. Together, these investigators collect and analyze the evidence to solve the crimes and to vindicate those who often cannot speak for themselves -- the victims.
