Welcome to the other side of me.
Welcome. For those of you directed here by my main site, you'll
probably be shocked. Yes, there is more than one obsession in my life.
And this one has lain dormant for so long, waiting under the surface
for me to lapse back into Grand Champion
model horse collector obsession. I have 43 right now. What has caused
this relapse? Well, I can't pinpoint the exact moment, but I think it
may have restarted when my friend Elle
gave me some Blue Ribbon points she found lying around the house. I
decided that since I had twice as many points as I needed, I could send
off for another horse and still have enough to wait for the next offer.
Then the nostalgia hit full force. All those good times with Em, all
the creativity, all the wild plots. Sure, I don't play with them (but
my cousin LOVES them to death, she wants them all when I go to
University) but it's nice to have something to collect, look at, and
enter in Photo Contests. Didn't think the GC world was that deep? Think you have one, but don't know it's name? ID that horse! And let me know if you have any you no longer want.

Okay, so this collection I've been talking about... I have a page up
and running called Spectra's Herd. Click on the link in the sidebar and
it will bring you to the page where my GCs will be in all their
glory. 
It might be a long wait for the pics, since I have no digital camera,
but Christmas is coming! I have some pics I snagged of horses I own
copies of from the Grand Champion Photo Contest. Thanks to all for the lovely pics. I will be taking my own pics of my actual horses soon I hope!
