SILENT HILL: the movie NOTE: NO SPOILERS When I enter the theater, it was 4pm and the seats where about 1/2 filled. They dimmed the lights so low that I actually banged my knee but I was more than happy that the movie theater was supporting the atmosphere. The movie starts out with "Sharon" missing from the house. When she is found by "Rose" (For now, Mother), Sharon is screaming in her sleep about "Silent Hill" Now Christopher (The supposed father that is played by Sean Bean) and Rose (Radha Mitchell) care about Sharon but have diffrent ideas on how to take care of her sleepwalking problem. Christopher wants Rose to get medical attention while Rose wants to take her to Silent Hill, to find out what is important in Silent Hill, and why she speaks of it. Rose takes Sharon(Jodelle Ferland) on a road trip there, stoping at Brahams to fill up, Officer Cybil Bennet takes notice of the little girl crying in the back and pursues them after running a barricade that blocked the road to Silent Hill. The rest of the movie is way too good and full of spoliers to even the existence of Silent Hill itself... If your a fan of Silent Hill, please go see the movie and if you have a friend that likes the horrible unknown, they will not be bored with it. *JUST A WARNING* The last part of the movie is brutaly violent... You'll get a little bit more than just monsters here so if your thinking of taking a kid there that even has played the games, it just might be too much for them. INTRESTING THINGS When rose drives away from Brahams, she arrives at a road sign say Brahams is still ahead of her and Silent Hill is a left turn. Lisa Garland does make an appearance in the movie You'll find out who the "Minners" (the guys with the weird mask) are later You'll see the desk Alissa sat at (With engravings and all) Light still attracts monsters Watch the birds...
