If the vet states they are out or only got one call the company BEFORE you pay the vet for the medicine and have them fax it over to you or your vet..or both. Otherwise don't get the medicine. He could have given me a short term narcotic, that is what she thought I was getting.....instead he injected me twice within a week with Metacam a NSAID . I lost half my weight within 6 weeks and threw up blood a lot Mom ran me to see him a lot but he didn't know what was wrong....and gave her cat tummy meds. I had to be put to death because I was so sick and miserable
Kiki 2 weeks before he had to be put to sleep. No matter how NICE your Vet is as a person do your research before you allow them to give you pet any meds. WE DIDN'T and it cost Kiki his life.
