For those that have known me for the past year, you may have a slight idea of what I have been going through. For those that have known me longer, you know I am going to get through it. For those that do not know, that last year I lost a job that I have had for 10 years. At the same time, I moved my mother in with me because of fear of her staying alone in a not so safe house in a not so safe neighborhood. I continue to struggle with life itself, but feel fortunate to have many people in it that help me through it as much as they can.
When before, my customs were more of a hobby and a love, slowly they became a way to make extra money to get by. I think that is where I lost track and lost interest. I would always have time for them in the evenings and on weekends, but with my current schedule I seem to only have time on weekends, but again they have become more of a need and not a hobby, something I no longer enjoyed. Sad thing is, most of these are probably 85-95% completed, but for some reason I only stare with a blank look. For those that I have outstanding deals with, I will continue to work on these to get you what has been promised. There are many of you - Bobby, Mike, Mike, Donnie, Rob (as soon as I get pix), Jeremy, Eric, Manish. The 2 off of the Spawn board (names escape me) ... lots of names, lots of figs ...
I feel most of my errors come from allowing my mind to wander to much to the negative and need to work more on conquering that walk. Thanks for your patience and I will get there, I may not like the path, but I will get there..... Spark
As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.

I decided to do some research on a gentleman that was always set up at the Inside Pitch Shows in Raleigh. Larry LeGrande played several years in the Negro League and played with Negro League stars such as Sachel Paige and the late Buck O'Neal. In 1958 LeGrande joined the line-up of the Detroit Stars owner and fellow NLB Living Legend (remembered) Ted Rasberry. He was mostly a catcher, however, sometimes he played a little right field. The Kansas City Monarchs organization, also owned by Mr. Rasberry, brought Larry into town in 1959 where he caught for the legendary Satchel Paige. Later that season, LeGrande was called upon to play for the Yankees in the Florida State (minor) League. He was released later that same season and returned to the Kansas City Monarchs. As the 1961 season came around, Larry decided to barnstorm the countryside with his good friend Satchel Paige and his Satchel Paige All-Stars. They knocked down the miles and the teams they challenged along the way, from Nebraska through Wyoming and back to Kansas City.
It was truely an honor to create and present Larry with a custom of him in his KC Monarch jersey.
