Jai Alai is a sport that originated in northern Spain. It is now played in many other countries and is especially popular in Central and South America.
It is also played in the U.S.A., and is especially popular in the states of Connecticut and Florida popular in Connecticut and Florida but is played in many hispanic countries. In Jai Alai, the players wear all white; a white helmet, and white pants, shirt, and shoes. Only their belts are red.
They use a small ball called a "Pelota" which they rebound off the three walls that surround them. The point is to bounce it back to yourself or teammates
without the other team catching it in their gloves or "guantes".
