21/07/05  To accompany the release of the Live at the 'NEC' there is an extensive promotional package in place including TV, Radio and the Press. The most notable of these interviews that has been confirmed so far, is Gary and Steve appearing on 'This Morning' on ITV1 at 10-30am on Wednesday 27th July. 

The Radio Times seems to be as enthusiastic about a reunion as the rest us judging by their description of this interview

17/07/05  With barely a week to go until the release of the DVD a new website has been launched  http://www.spandauballetlive.com/ This website contains lots of information about the DVD and includes pictures and downloads which will be available after the 25th.

29/06/05  The  'Spandau Ballet - Live at the NEC' dvd was screened at The Soho Hotel in London as a preview to its release on 25th July 2005.  I was lucky enough to be in the audience and can guarantee that this dvd is fantastic with picture and sound quality that makes you feel like you was at the live gig all those years ago. From the moment the first bars are heard and Tony sings the first lyrics you are transported back to the 80's so convincingly it could have been yesterday. But don't take my word for it,  just buy the dvd and see for yourself.

19/06/05  I am pleased to announce that the single of  'N Dey Say' by Nelly, which was released on Monday, and uses 'True' as its background,  has entered the UK top 40 at number 6. Congratulations to all concerned

16/06/05     Cary Brothers have just recorded a version of "True" for a new Disney movie called "Sky HIgh" out later  this year. We're hoping that there will be a soundtrack when the movie comes out Cary in a LA based artist who had a hit last year in the States with "Blue Eyes" which was also on the Grammy award winning "Garden State" soundtrack check out his website at http://www.carybrothers.com/   (Source http://www.spandauballet.com/html/spandau.html )

7/2/05 Good News the Spandau Ballet live 5.1 widescreen DVD is ready to go. As well as the live show extras include all the Sony Videos from "Fight for Ourselves" through to "Crashed into Love. There is also a documentary on the making of the video "Fight for Ourselves", plus commentary throughout the live show from Gary and Martin. Sony/BMG are hoping for an April release so if Gary does go ahead with the plans for some screenings we should hear about these soon.
