SPANDAU BALLET

Martin Kemp (d.o.b. 10/10/61) younger brother of Gary, joined Spandau Ballet as their bass player on the advice of Steve Dagger. Martin would be the first to admit, that he was in the band more for his good looks, than his musical ability, and therefore he relished returning to his first love acting, with brother Gary to film “The Krays”.

Many of us thought that Martin was having an easy life whilst doing his sofa adds. I can exclusively reveal that this was not the whole truth.

 

In fact Martin was learning about money laundering and its impact on organised crime including drug trafficking, and worse still, in the light of the London Bombings, terrorism 

 

This learning process cumulated in him narrating a training film for a major high street bank which showed staff members of the bank how to spot possible incidences of money laundering activity.
