Spanaffy S.B.T And S.W.D

 

Dolly is my oldest girl, shes out of Champion Rogue Saga and is half sister to Champion Nordic Cheif and Champion Domino Flashy Lad.

Champion Domino Flashy Lad (right) was the breed record holder of kennel club challenge certificates for a number of years and in my opinion was one of the best. he sadly passed away a short while ago.

 

 

 

Samsalin Brixith (left) was one of my pups that after mating with Dolly went to Spain and is producing champion pups there. Dolly was mated to Brixith and i kept Teigan and Pepsi (right), both of whom proved to be excellent mothers and some of their offspring went to live in Canada with Fleur Hardy. They had a great deal of success with them and they were the basis of their lines at Penstaff. To date we have 8 Canadian Champions at Penstaff kennels and  hopefully if the current bsl is overturned there she will be able to continue showing and continue her lines.

 

 

Dollys last litter was to Jolihem The Image Man and gave us Daisy (right) and Madison (left). Maddy went to live in Scotland with Emma Lewis and Craig Scroggie of the Blazinstaff Affix. Teigans last litter was also to Jolihem The Image Man and produced some wonderful pups, 2 pups went to Fleur Hardy and Emma took Summer Flames. She has been shown all over the country and qualified for crufts 2005 and again for 2006, gaining a cc at welks in the summer of 2005 under Sarah hemstock. We did import a champion male from Fleur hardy in Canada called Penstaff Gunner Go Back To Spanaffy but due to work commitments he has now gone to join Madison and summer flames and Emma and Craig’s other bitch Yazmin in Scotland to hopefully gain his u.k championship. 

Pepsi produced Canadian Champion Basil Star and Canadian Champion Spirited Magnolia (right).

Teigan had Canadian Champion Abalone Sunset (left) and Canadian Champion Archibald Prince.They have all gone on to produce championship winning offspring for Fleur.

 

 

 

The next generation, we mated gunner to daisy and had a beautiful litter of 4 boys and 1 girl born by caesarean, when I saw the pups in the basket at the vets

 one stood out above all the others, unfortunately it was a boy not the girl that I wanted but after watching him develop over 8 weeks we couldn’t let him go so Spanaffy Gunsablazin or Archie as we know him, stayed here with his mum, auntie and grandma, he has a superb temperament and has grown into a stocky handsome boy who is also L2 hga and H.C clear as is his mum.

 

 

We were pleased to welcome Blazinstaff Gan Awa Hame T Spanaffy to our pack in November 2006, she is from Summer Flames and Herodotus Sodamtuff and is H.C clear,unfortunatly she is an L2 carrier but has a superb temperment and has superb type and an excellent head and body shape.she will be a much loved member at Spanaffy and hopefully a future mate for Archie. in june 2007 daisy gave birth to her second and final litter and we have kept her bitch pup in partnership as she looks like she will be a cracking quality pup with a temperment the same as granny dolly.
