South West Sight Hounds

For a long time now my own hounds, foster hounds and the majority of adopted hounds have worn collars made by our good friend Hazel.

The main reason they wear them is because they're so much safer than traditional leather hound collars.
They're designed in such a way that, correctly fitted, they sit comfortabley loose around the dogs neck until there's tension on the lead when they will tighten enough so as not to slip over the dogs head - unfortunately a cause of too many tragic accidents.

With the collars having proved popular with so many hound owners Hazel now has her own website where you can see some of the many pattern designs and collar variations. Very kindly she donates a percentage of the profits from her collars to the hounds in our care.
