Growing up as kids we always loved our Barbies, but lamented the fact that Barbie always seemed to be Blond. Re-rooting has allowed us the freedom and joy of creating dolls for ourselves and for sale that are unique additions to Barbie collections!

Since moving to the SouthWest, we have been blessed with being able to pick from a wealth of great dolls! We have also recently discovered a fantastic new beauty supply place where we�ve been able to pick up all sorts of fun new styles and colors of hair, so even our repeat and loyal buyers are certain to find new and exciting dolls to choose from!

About the Dolls & Our Re-Rooting Techniques

Some are like-new dolls given a more exotic doo, most are Barbie rescue efforts and may have some small flaws or blemishes, however, we are however extremely picky and try to mention any obvious flaws. However, small things like pin-pricks, and/or light chew marks might go unmentioned.  

All of our dolls have been very carefully re-rooted with new hair! The colors and styles available are all fun and different! We use everything from saran wig hair, to straight, to curly, to braided, and to ethnic weave!

All dolls are being sold (unless otherwise noted) in simple Barbie outfits so that you can customize her apparel yourself, making the dolls ideal for customizers not wanting to mess with hair. Some have rooted lashes and some have enhanced makeup.

All dolls are re-rooted by myself and my sister - we have been doing re-roots for over 10 years so you can be assured of the quality of the work you are getting.

Our Re-rooting Style

We re-root dolls using the knotting technique. We use doll needles to sew in the hair (we do NOT use rooting tools.) Hair will not pull out from the doll�s heads and can be brushed, boil-permed, and restyled without worry that hair will all fall out.

Ponytail dolls are done like classic vintage ponytail dolls, meaning that there is no hair inside the perimeter hairline. This allows the hair to lie flat against the dolls scalp while in the ponytail. Straight hair ponytails can be curled and are great for restyling as updos! Again- the hair lays flat on the scalp as there is no hair inside the rooted hairline.

The curly hair dolls hair can be trimmed and styled by adjusting the ponytail and building hairpieces and weaving things like beads and braids into the basic hairstyle.

All Full Head re-roots are completely stylable and great for any kind of customizing your heart desires!
