Hi and welcome to Southview Stud.

My name is Michelle, and I have been breeding rabbits for many years.  I have always had pet rabbits as a child, and we occasionally let them have litters.  When I first got my own house, I bought a couple of rabbits as pets and had a litter once or twice a year.  In 2005 I moved to a much bigger house and decided to take things much more seriously.

The first move was to buy more rabbits, but because I was over keen I just bought anything, which im sure some of you can relate to, and I started breeding them.  I started off with lionheads, and dutch,  bred them for a while and one day my husband, Shaun, came home with 8 week old orange butterfly dwarf lop doe.  It was then I knew it was the lops I wanted to concerntrate on.

Since then I have made several contacts across the country, mostly good!! And I have been able to get some really good stock.

I do not show at the moment, only because I have got my hands tied with the family, but I would love to in the future.
