South Molton Twinning Association

Welcome to the South Molton Twinning Association website. 

South Molton in Devon is Twinned with Livarot in France. Every year the two towns meet alternating between the two. This year we went across to Livarot. The rest of the year we hold a number of events any money raised being put towards the next years main twinning event. Events include Bar-B-Q's, Themed Meals, Day Walk on Exmoor, Pic Nic, Fireworks Party, Xmas Party in fact a lot of eating and drinking .

You don't have to be able to speak french to join (I don't) though it certainly helps when the French come across and vice versa, you soon learn to use sign language and those that can, help you out. If you learnt french at school however long ago you'll soon find yourself picking up pigeon french.

We meet at 7.30pm, every second Thursday of the month, at the George Hotel in South Molton, normally in the upstairs room, excepting August when most people are on holiday . So why not come along and meet us, we don't bite honest (well most of us don't ). We welcome people of all ages young and old.
