How Can I Help?
A donation of money is always welcome. A donation of your time would be
especially appreciated. We meet on the third Wednesday of every month. Please
call us for time and place, except August and December at the Brigantine
Community Center, 3100 Bayshore Ave, Brigantine, N.J. Schedules for upcoming
fund raisers are also available.
If you have any ideas for fund raising or would like to sponsor a fund
raiser for the benefit of the South Jersey Cancer Fund we would be pleased to
hear from you.
Fund Raising Events
- June 16 - 5 P.M. - Stephanie Burke Beach Run, 5K run and 1K walk there
will be a $20 registration fee which includes T-Shirt. There will be an official
timer for the 5K for serious runners.
- A coin drop at the Brigantine Market will be held on June 29, 30th and July 1,
If you would like to volunteer, you will be assigned a 2 hour shift on 1 day.
- A coin drop at the Shop Rite Super Market in Absecon, N.J. every Saturday in
October. Volunteers will be assigned 2 hour shifts on 1 of these days.
More events are in the planning stages and will be posted on this page as they
are scheduled.

that shares some of its advertising revenue with charity organizations. You can
help support SJCF just by using GoodSearch when you need to find something online!
How does it work?
- On the GoodSearch homepage, enter South Jersey Cancer Fund in
the box labled "Who do you GoodSearch for?" and click the Verify button.
- Search the Internet just like you normally would. The site is powered
by Yahoo!, so you'll get the same high-quality search results you're
accustomed to.
- Fifty percent of the revenue generated from advertisers is shared with SJCF,
about $0.01 per search, on average.
