The American Molosser is a multi-purpose breed, not breed for one specific task. This fine breed excells at protection work, family or estate, weightpullings, sports work and of course being an all around family companion. Using only the best dogs available for the component breeds have we been successful over the years. We have carried this breed from Dave Sanders of Aspenrare Kennels, originator of the breed. The American Molosser is couragous, confident, agile and posses uncanny strength. These dogs are breed to be part of the family not an outsider. They will not flourish with minimal human contact or by being unsocialized. General Appearance: Medium to large sized breed, smooth haired. Should combine strenght and agility with elegance, determination, and confidence. Cropped tails are prefered but not a requirement.

HEIGHT: Male 20-26in Female 19-24in
MASS: Male 90-120lbs Female 75-100lbs

Color: Blue, Red (including tan),Brindle (Blue, Red or brown/tan, Black), or any of the above with white. Any excessive white is a flaw, anymore than 75% white undesirable.

Head: Large in proportion to body and square. Thick, powerful jaws, slight undershot and reverse scissors. Muzzle should be short and in proportion. Ears cropped or uncropped, set wide with either button or rose bud preferred.
