I have been around Dogs like the Siberian huskie and Dachshund all my years as a child growing up.
My Parents own, breed and show the Siberian Huksy and Dachshunds at there Galdeeli kennels in Essex.
We only have a hand full of bassets here which are Loved family pets as well as show Dogs.
All my bassets have great Layed back temperaments.
Basset hounds are a great Dog for any family.
