2008/2009 chase reports-
February 21 2009 (new) Another great chase. We intercept a HP supercell near Singleton and experience 5-6cm hail!
November 20 2008 (new) One of my best ever chases. Awesome HP squall line and gustfront near Beaudesert, QLD
September 13 2008 A very early start to the season. Some quality high base lightning but heavily embedded.
2007/2008 chase reports-
October 28 2007- Our best storm chase to date. We witness some awesome LP structure,and a lightning show which lasted throughout the night.
November 17 2007- Severe storm near Collector brings torriantal rain and serious flash flooding.
2006/2007 chase reports-
February 10- Severe storm near Moss Vale. Includes a lovely shelf cloud,1-2cm hail,torrential rain and flash flooding.
February 7 - Explosive updrafts near Goulburn.Supercells reported on the same day near Lithgow including 6cm hail.
February 3- Some nice pulse storms encountered near Berrima and Marulan.Includes torrential rainfall and some small hail.
December 31- A photogenic but non severe storm near Gunning NSW. Some very close lightning at one stage .
December 29- A severe storm northwest of Goulburn.
2005/2006 chase reports-
January 16- We travelled to Young today,and only saw some average storms.Not the greatest chase ever,but interesting nevertheless.
November 26- A sucessful chase today to Collector(near Canberra). We saw a brilliant gustfront,and experienced some strong winds and small hail. A report has been written up.
2004/2005 Chase reports-
February 19- We travelled to the highlands today. We experienced some heavy rain,flash flooding,and small hail.The talking point though was the intense CGs.
February 2 - We headed for western Sydney today.We experienced a strong squall line set up,with strong winds and very heavy rainfall.Inner Sydney experienced large hail on the same afternoon. Report coming soon.
December 8- We travelled to the Goulburn area today. 3-4cm hail,with drifts up to 40cms deep. A report has been written up.
December 5- First ever storm chase for me. I travelled to Moss Vale,and scored some heavy rain plus flooding. Some nice CG's too.
