November 20 2008- Severe storms SE QLD
Sydney and the South Coast have suffered through a poor season to date. Up until late November, the Illawarra recieved just one notable storm. Meanwhile NE NSW and particulary SE QLD experienced numerous severe thunderstorm events including supercells large hail and incredible winds. I was getting over missing out,so I decided to take a week off and chase to SE QLD. This decision payed off,as I witnessed one of the best storms of my life certianly in terms of structure. A report will be written up shortly but heres a few photos for now. Click for larger image.

October 28- First storm chase of the 2007/2008 season!!!!!!
We finially got our first chase under our belts today. Me and a friend, saw some awesome storms near the South West Slopes towns of Wagga Wagga and Temora. One of these storms may have been a LP supercell delivering nothing but 2-4cm hail with the occasional stone slightly larger than this. The updraft reigon was spinning like a top! Awesome structure!!!!!!!!! Certainly worth the 1100km drive! A report will be written up,but for the time being, See photos below

Beautifal structure near Junee,Southwest Slopes NSW.

The lightning show was quite spectacular as well, and lasted throughout the night.
