South Brick Beach Fire Dept.

 

Welcome to the website for the South Brick Beach Fire Department. We are dedicated to serving the minifigs of South Brick Beach and our surrounding areas. We are a 100% volunteer fire company, and one of only 2 all volunteer fire companies in the LMFD.

March 16th, 2009: E-632, B-44 and Foam 44 will be out of the area for training at the Oak River Oil facility for the 16th, 17th and 18th of this month. 8 of our members will be attending along with many other departments in the LMFD.

Febuary 2nd- DOF Classes being held each monday, wednesday and thursday over the next 3 weeks. The live burn is scheduled for the 21st of Febuary. All memebers who do not have done the classes must attend.

Fire Alarm

January 19th 2009- At 2:34 a fire alarm was dispatched for the furnature store on East Sand Hill Rd. Engine 441 Responded with 5 crew members, upon arivial they found a power outlet that was smoking, crews worked to check for any fire extension into the building. They cleared at 3:06. Engine 442 stood by in quarters with 3, as did Truck 442 with 5 crew members.

MVA-Single vehicle

Monday, January 5th 16:10 Report of a single vehicle crash on I-6 entrance ramp was reported, unkown on injuries, E-443, Rescue 443 and Rescue 441 responded to the area. Upon arrival, it was found that vehicle was just disabled, no injuries to occpants. Crews cleared at 16:17

Grass Fire

Thursday, January 1st 2009, a call for a small grass fire was reported at 12:14 a.m. Brush 441 responded with 2 members and quickly put out the small fire. Brush 441 cleared at 12:29 a.m. and stood by in quarters due to the new years eve celebrations around town.
