ELLEN WRIGHT

Ellen started taking pictures when she was eight years old. She took pictures of nice things, like flowers and friends and feet. Then ten years later she went to see some bands play, and she brought her camera along. She was amazed by the band's matching clothes and hair. The singer did funny things like jump up in the rafters and hang upside down. He also screamed a lot, which she liked. She started going to more shows and taking her camera, and she saw things like people bleeding, people sweating a very very lot, people taking off their clothes, and people doing all kinds of funny dances.

Ellen has been taking pictures at shows for about three years now, and she has a pretty nice collection of bands from San Diego and beyond. Her work has been published in San Diego City Beat, San Diego Fahrenheit Magazine, and the Seattle Stranger, as well as in the album art of bands like Karate, Over My Dead Body, and Goodbye, Blue Monday.
