Surviving the Storms
as grieving clouds enfold the sky. Seagulls abandon somber shores as rain and thunder multiply. At times the wind appears distressed when traveling with bands of hail. Combative gales may taunt the waves, elbowing vessels that we sail. Sometimes we are forlorn at sea as tides demolish without care. The water's voice becomes so deep as turbulence invades the air. |

No Longer LonelyI'm alone, but no longer lonely. Solitude grants a haven of respite. a place that onced housed selfishness. I accepted blame for your empty skies, praying the sun finds its way home. You've forgiven me, yet my guilt lingers, so I've planted seeds to recovery.
Until my soul learns to radiate love, I shall not explore seas for a mate. Nevermore shall I steal one's rainbow. I'd rather live without a partner.
I'm alone, but no longer lonely. Gradually, I'm gaining maturity.
